In October 2024, I experienced a fall while playing badminton in the morning, which led to the gradual onset of pain in my right leg. Eventually, the pain intensified to the point where I was unable to walk or bend. I had previously undergone disc prolapse surgery in India in 2021, and I feared that I was experiencing a recurrence of that pain. Consequently, I considered returning to India for treatment. However, I decided to try and explore local options and found The Healing Centre Chiropractic in Remuera. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Luke Heather, who quickly diagnosed my condition. He advised me that after a few sessions, if there was no improvement, we would discuss further treatment options. Remarkably, within a week, I woke up one morning to find that the pain had significantly decreased, allowing me to walk without severe discomfort. Nevertheless, I continued to experience back and shoulder pain due to posture alignment issues. I have been receiving regular treatment, which has greatly improved my overall posture and boosted my confidence. The therapy has not only alleviated my pain but has also contributed positively to my overall health. I am thankful to Dr. Luke for his dedicated and compassionate care, as he provided timely advice during my time of suffering. Dr Yash Lal is probably the best health practitioner I've come across in my life. The care, the kindness, the patience to explain everything to me, sometimes more than once, and going beyond what's expected (emotionally and physically) are qualities that I value the most in him.
