Both of my children graduated from Honeybees . I am a picky person, so I checked carefully and chose a daycare for my children. First of all, I was very satisfied with everything, from the teachers to the curriculum, the clean environment, the balanced diet provided every day. The best of all was the teachers who treated the children with sincerity. Both of my children have entered primary school, but they still talk about Honeybees a lot and keep in touch with their friends there. In my personal opinion, I think it is the best daycare in Auckland.

My children have attended multiple centers, and I can confidently say that Honeybees is the best by far. The teachers genuinely care about the kids, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

When my daughter first started, she was very withdrawn and would get upset during drop-offs—something we had experienced at previous centers . However, within a few weeks at Honeybees, she began walking in with confidence and engaging in play, which was a huge milestone for us. The Teachers took time each morning to comfort and guide her, and even a year later, their warmth and support remain constant. I truly credit this transformation to the amazing teachers and the love they have for the children.

The center is thoughtfully designed, with spacious outdoor play areas, including a sandpit, play frames, and a cubby house.

Honeybees was a life changing place for our little boy, and for us as his parents. A safe, nurturing environment where it felt as though kids had the benefit of freedom to explore but still be under supervision from the quality care team. As we moved countries we had our son in three different daycares before Honeybees, and it stands head and shoulders above the others. They encouraged his independence and fostered an environment where he felt safe enough to express his lovely, big personality. We loved seeing him flourish!

My child went to honeybees for about 1 and half years until completing the pre-school at age 5. Throughout that period, honeybees provided excellent guidance and environment to improve her knowledge and skills. I’m so impressed about her growth within that short period thanks to honeybees family. Not only education but also it’s a very safe place for the kids to spend the day as a daycare. Honeybees is an amazing place for a child to play and learn how to be a good and bright person. Alek loved it! And I was always in a good state of mind at work while he was there surrounded by wonderful and caring people.

Child’s Time is an amazing daycare. My son has been there for nearly 2 years and has absolutely thrived! All his teachers right through to centre management continually support and encourage all of my sons needs and learning. All staff make a huge effort to keep rooms and the centre clean, tidy and organised. Outdoor play areas are built into the middle and the back of the centre so you can ensure the privacy and safety of your child. Can’t recommend Child’s Time enough!

Our 7 month old baby loves going here, it is very clean and organised with plenty of toys and activities to keep the children engaged. The teachers are kind and caring. My wife and I feel assured that he’s well looked after. We are very lucky to have found this day care.

Amazing child care, my son started his day care journey when he was 7 month old but I was not happy with the care taken at previous daycare so when my son was 2.5 year old, I changed his day care and started going at child’s time. I always think it would be really amazing if I would have started my son’s daycare journey from child’s time and not with another day care.

Shopping around for a daycare made us very nervous as new parents. We went to a couple different places but didn’t feel stoked.

Two and a half years later we now have our 3 year old and 15 month old with Child’s time and couldn’t be happier with how they make our kids feel.

There are at least 10 daycares betweeour home and child’s time but we happily drive the extra distance. Cheers to the team for what you do for our little mates.

Our elder daughter started here at 18 months before she went to school, and now our younger daughter has been attending since just before she turned 6 months. We are incredibly happy with our experience at this centre. The teacher-to-student ratio is excellent, ensuring each child gets the attention they need. Deeply saddened by our experience at this center. I took two of my children to this center after hearing a few good reviews. Recently, on Friday we received a call stating our child had thrown up and wasn’t feeling well so we collected her from daycare. We were concerned but thought it would just be something that would go away… which it did. All weekend she was fine and was her active self. Back to daycare on Monday morning and we get the same call, that she’s spewed up and feeling unwell. My husband is concerned and picks her up, notifies me and so I contact the doctor to make an appointment. Puzzled, my husband asks the center what she ate and also saw milk-like vomit on her clothes. The center teacher said she had milk/cereal so my husband asked if he could see the milk. To his shock, the milk had clotted up around the lid and smelt rotten. This is what they fed our child. Our child that we trusted in their care. Absolutely disappointed! What made matters worse is the center manager tried to minimize the situation and make it seem as though it wasn’t a serious matter. If the situation was handled differently, the outcome would have been different but the clear disregard for the children’s health is concerning.

Everything was alright in the beginning of course as it usually is with new things. My children have been getting quite sick and I understand that’s the reality of daycares. However, the way they manage sick children doesn’t follow a strict process which protects other children and doesn’t help stop the spread of sicknesses. Sick children should be sent home, end of.

At one point, my son’s nappy hadn’t even been changed the whole day. I knew this because the nappy I sent him in was the same nappy he came home in after a full day. I did express my concerns on the day and requested to see the nappy chart which showed 1 checking of his nappy.

We were going to bring my twins here at one point due to the desperate need of returning to work/study and after the first transition visit I cancelled. There was one child who cried the entire time and clung to my husband.. he was tired and one of the teachers stated this. That poor boy cried himself to sleep. Also, the teachers didn’t both to try bond with my twins. The transition visit should be when the teacher tries to create a bond with the new child, don’t you think? Especially seeing as they said we can only do 3 days of transition visits.

Also I might add, when my children first started there were a few teachers we grew a bond with and trusted who have since left the center. I always wondered why they left, they were great teachers and our favorites. Our experience at this center changed since they’ve left.

Picking up my children earlier than usual has also been a way for me to see the way they truly are with children. I didn’t do it purposefully but I’m definitely glad I did.

I’ve attached imagine of the milk they gave my child which they tried to argue was not rotten or the cause of my child’s upset stomach. Despite the fact she only felt sick on the two days she went to daycare (Friday then again on Monday).

Both my children attended Little Pearl Mt Roskill. They thoroughly enjoyed their preschool. With my first chid it was an experiment but with the second one I knew for sure Little Pearl Mt Roskill would be best suited. I find the centre very clean and tidy, student to staff ratio is well managed. Both my children were less sick in the winter which may often cause from the childcare centre. They both look forward to attending their sessions. Highly recommend.

little pearls is an excellent place for children. My daughter Catherine really enjoyed her kindergarten life in this place. She has learned how to communicate with people in English, she builds up confidence, she learnd so much and get lots of love from every teacher and Taner. We are so lucky she was in this center. My daughter still wants to go back to little pearls to see Wenqi and Zoey even now. We definitely recommend this place to parents and believe children will be looked after well. We love this place.

I wish that I could give Small Fries more than a 5-Star review. We had all three of our kids in Small Fries, across all of the rooms from 2022 to early 2025. We relocated out of Auckland and leaving Small Fries “behind” was one of the saddest parts of our relocation (for both us and the kids).

Small Fries became an extension of our family. The team are always friendly, loving and nurturing with all children and parents/caregivers. Small Fries have prepared my children for their next chapter not only from an academic “school readiness” side but socially too.

Staff are responsive, inclusive and engaging and have a wide range of resources available. All areas are clean & tidy and well setup for playing, learning, sleeping and exploring. My kids (of which one has food allergies) enjoyed the meals provided.

Small Fries always has a special place in our hearts. Our three boys attended SF since 2014 to 2025. It played a very important part in our children’s early childhoods. We have been very pleased with their ambience which was cozy, tidy and warm. Kids feel so safe and nice being in the center. More important was the teachers and office ladies were always welcoming and smiling. They were100% trustworthy as they always took good care of kids with love. We had no problems communicating with teachers. Kids’ learnings and growing were well documented on the parent portal.

We moved to Auckland when my daughter was 3 years and 4 months old. She turned 5 just last week, and I still remember how, on the day after we moved, she started attending Magic Kingdom. To my surprise, she didn’t need any transition period—she settled in from day one and started going full days. I truly believe it was the warm, welcoming nature of the team that made her feel so comfortable so quickly.

As parents, nothing makes us happier than seeing our children happy and thriving. One of the things I really appreciated was how affordable the full-day programme is, especially considering it includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. My daughter loved eating with her friends, and mealtimes became something she looked forward to each day.

The activities at Magic Kingdom have been incredibly engaging and thoughtful. She especially enjoyed doing experiments and participating in role play. The regular updates shared through Learning and Shoots have been commendable—it’s wonderful to see what the kids are up to.

As a first-time mom, I was really nervous when I first left my 6-month-old, Sharvil, at daycare. In the beginning, I used to call or message Jinita all the time just to check if he was okay. I honestly thought she might be thinking, “This lady keeps disturbing me, I have so much to do!” But I was so wrong.

Jinita, you were always so kind and patient. You even went downstairs yourself to check on Sharvil and make sure he was doing fine. That meant so much to me.

A big thank you to Ateka as well—you do so much for Sharvil every day, and I can see how much love and care you give him. I truly appreciate it.

And to the lovely teacher (I’m so sorry I don’t remember your name!) who once told me, “We know when Sharvil is hungry because he gives us signs”—that really stayed with me. Sometimes, even I don’t know what he wants right away, but you all understand him so well. That says everything about how closely and lovingly you care for him.

I have a nearly 4 year old who has been attending Magic Kingdom since he was 1. He has had such a great experience. The teachers are great with kids, and engage them with so many activities. They introduce all of the many cultures to all children and create quite a diverse and curious learning environment. Even when there seems to be teacher turnover, new staff who are just as capable come in as replacements. The communications are also very transparent and we receive regular updates on our child’s progress and development. For these reasons we continue to send our child to Magic Kingdom even thought it is not the closest centre for us and actually out of the way. They are also fair and reasonable in terms of fees and fee increases, always liaising with parents without abrupt decisions. We highly recommend.

Magic Kingdom Childcare has such caring and compassionate teachers. My daughter is always creating and making things and has made two good friends in less than 3 months. She feels well supported and in a trustworthy environment. They are great with communication, always organizing new events for the kids and have an amazing lunch on a 4 week rotation. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a caring environment for their child.

First and foremost the educators at Magic Kingdom in Blockhouse Bay are the most wonderful, genuinely caring nurturers. My little ‘pandemic baby’ had a total of three play dates before starting daycare at 11 months old and they made they transition for him (and me!) a positive and stress free experience. The core values and beliefs of Magic Kingdom align to my own as a parent, and knowing that my child is receiving a quality education based on those principles is important. I feel that the educators are just as invested in my child’s growth as a whole person, as I am. I couldn’t ask for anything more, and would highly recommend Magic Kingdom to anyone looking for childcare.

After 3 months of gap, my daughter was finally starting a new daycare. I used to be worried thinking about how she is going accept her new centre. But except for the morning drop off dramas, my daughter loves her teachers and friends. And I have personally noticed that bond many times. For any new parents looking for a nice and friendly centre, you have MK with open hands.

这次来新西兰带不到三岁的宝宝体验插班，来之前联系了三所幼儿园，到了之后访问了两家，在参观完merryland之后我就感觉非常棒，这里的孩子很自信、很礼貌，老师们都很有耐心。园区的设计也是我们喜欢的那种，贴近自然，孩子们自己种花种草，摘果实。虽然地方不是很大，但能感觉到孩子们在这里很开心的氛围。于是再看完另外一家后相烈的对比之下，选择了merry land，目前孩子的插班生活接近尾声，他在这里每天都很快乐，更加的自信和阳光。喜欢新西兰的教育理念，也期待明年可以继续再来。

My experience as a teacher in Merryland was incredible. The owner, Aru, always ensures that all of her staffs are all being well taken care of. What I love the most in Merryland is the strong and harmonious relationship with my boss, manager, colleagues and whanau. Moreover the love and unity are always visible.. The parents and whanau are also lovely and supportive. Children are blessed to be in Merryland to have such a loving and caring kaiako.

I always recommend Beststart Manukau to everyone in my known because from the day I put my son in this centre I saw big change in his personality, he became more confident and independent. My 10-month-old niece has been attending BestStart Manukau for a few months now and every time she pulls up outside her school she has a big smile on her face and starts to wiggle with excitement, she has grown strong, healthy and curious while in her teachers care, she is loved dearly and she in turn has formed a special bond with each of her teachers.

As my son Vivaan started primary school this year I got a very good feedback from his class teacher and his after school care that Vivaan is a very confident child. Early smiles is an amazing daycare for my two kids. The teachers have been amazing with my daughter Lulu since she started a year an a half ago and worked very hard to make her feels it at ease and settle in. Najlaa in particular is very kind and caring and always treat my kids as her own. And because of Lulu’s positive experience I felt so comfortable to enrol my baby Yousef there too. So far it has been the best decision, he is loved and nurtured by all the teachers.

Adventureland has been the 2nd home of my daughter for the past year. Best daycare for my kids around this area. My son started when he was 9 months old . I was so scared, because he was on breast milk. But things changed within 2 weeks. My daughter eknoor, she was in Adventureland from last two years. She has learnt a lot from there. The staff and the manger are very helpful and cooperative.
