Dear Gill Travels Team, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had with your agency, which has left me deeply dissatisfied. Due to the airport closure in India, I contacted your team in advance to inform you that my flight would be canceled and to request assistance in rescheduling. I was told that I would be charged $595 per person to change the dates. That totaled $1,800 for three passengers, which seemed extremely high. To verify, I reached out directly to Malaysia Airlines. I was surprised to learn that the airline could not make any changes to my booking because you had locked the ticket. This prevented me from even exploring other options through different agents or the airline itself. After insisting on speaking with a manager at Malaysia Airlines, I was finally able to have the lock removed — something that only a manager could do. Once that was resolved, the airline rescheduled the exact same tickets with zero additional fees. It is very concerning that: 1. I was being asked to pay $1,800 for changes that the airline ultimately made for free. 2. Your agency had placed a lock on my ticket without informing me, limiting my ability to seek alternatives. This experience has caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time, and a sense of being misled. I hope you review this case seriously and improve transparency and customer support in the future. I will be reconsidering my options when booking through travel agents going forward.

We recently booked our flight through Gill Travels and flew with Cathay Pacific as a family, including our baby. Overall, it was a smooth and positive experience. One of their staff named Mukul was responsive and helpful, especially when it came to arranging the infant ticket and answering our questions about baby-friendly flight options.
