Alter Me - Wedding Dresses, Bridal Alterations & Bespoke

I had a wonderful experience at Alterme. With the correct alterations my wedding dress went from being something that just ticked the required boxes, to being a dress I actually felt great about wearing. It had a very long train and was heavy material so I was unsure if I would be able to dance in it - but after getting a ballroom bustle by Alterme that problem was solved. I also had my cheapie reception dress altered here too, getting a new halter neck strap added and hem done - it also turned out great. When they informed me that they would also steam my dresses for me before pick up, I had the idea to not pick it up until my actual wedding day - as my ceremony venue was just across the road (yes I walked there!). It was totally outside their normal service, but Nazneen was happy for me to get changed in one of their rooms prior to walking down the aisle 30mins later. So very grateful. I am a busy wedding celebrant and will be recommending Alterme to all my Brides. Thanks again.

Nazneen and Charlotte were such a pleasure to deal with. I started my wedding dress hunt first with Alter Me and these lovely ladies did not disappoint. I walked into my appointment anxious and not knowing what to expect but the ladies put me at such ease and gave such lovely feedback to every dress that I tried on. Would definitely recommend!

They are all so lovely and incredibly helpful during the whole experience from start to finish. I needed my dress altered; sleeves attached, extra fabric in the bust taken out, straps shortened as well as my train and they exceeded my expectations. My sleeves needed fabric taken as they were so big and she made them drape so perfectly. upon my pick up I wasn’t happy with how tight the top of the sleeve was as it was designed to sit flat and Nazneen fixed them so fast, we ended up pleating the sleeves and they were perfect. So happy with my experience! Nanzeen was so kind, easy to work with and cater to my needs and supportive when I expressed how uncomfortable I was with the sleeves and fixed them! Nazneen met and exceeded every possible expectation I had for my wedding dress journey. She was supported, had amazing ideas, understood exactly what I want and had amazing connections to source the fabric I wanted. The dress design and make was flawless and stunning, perfect for my body shape. I wish I could wear it every day!!!

I had my veil embroidered through Alter Me and it turned out exactly how I had visioned it. I was talked through the process, placement, font and size; as well as given knowledgeable advice. Communication was great, Naz was super lovely and the quality of the end product was amazing!

Nazneen is beyond brilliant at what she does. Anyone that can alter designs with such complex and intricate detailing is a genius. She truly cares about how the bride will look, and feel in the dress, and makes it a point that you are 100% happy with each alteration. Plus she won't ever make you feel rushed during the fittings. She gave some fantastic advice which was greatly appreciated. And I have to mention the dresses Nazneen sells in her boutique are stunning. I was going through them again today, and would select just about all of them. She has exceptional taste. Thank-you Nazneen for your time, and at many stages, your patience!
