Animates Westgate

Recently welcomed a new kitten and was looking for cat treats for her. I asked for help on which treats to choose, and was given a free kitten goodie bag. Beautiful service from the manager and staff — really made a rough week super nice! Serafina says thank you!!

New to puppy ownership and have had several great experiences in the last 2 weeks. Dan & Haili (sorry if I have that wrong) were amazingly knowledgeable, providing options and advice. As well as other team members keen to assist. Skye is a magnet for attention. New toy is a hit. Thank you!

I want to give ZERO star but will be blocked !! the groomer Giovanni refused to groom my dog when he didn't even try to spend time with him. He said my dog is "aggressive dog" . I think he is not experienced and not professional. My dog is only two years old and it's miniature schnauzer. I can't think of any possibility that he is aggressive?!

Dan, thank you so much for your assistance in helping me fit and find the right harness for my Pommy (after your male colleague refused to help me fit one) I certainly left feeling well assisted and more educated on my pet's needs. The world deserves more people like you

I actually got served by the Manager ( Angel) at Westgate. She was obnoxious and made me feel like I don’t want to come back to her store. I requested a refund on wet cat food. I only brought 4 sachets. She refunded 3 only. I asked why, with her don’t care attitude - wet food is different from dry food. Well now I know now!

Really disappointed by this shop. First time walking in and came in with my partner to get a few new things for our 5month old puppy . I’m not one to really ask for help because I like to walk around and take my time . I did ask one lady at the counter to help around dental care and she gave me a few tips . As I was deciding I felt so many workers hovering around us and in the end I wanted to leave . We brought only one thing from the store but to be honest I didn’t want to buy anything after feeling so uncomfortable. I only brought it because I’m sure the team there thought we were trying to shoplift . Not sure who would shoplift at a pet store but anyways will stick to new Lynn Annimate moving forward .Wanted to give this one star but the lady that gave the tips around dental care made me give this review 2⭐️⭐️.

Giovanni at Animates Westgate is the most amazing groomer!! Our Poto is very demanding and loves him. His attention to detail and skills are unmatched here in Auckland. We absolutely recommend Giovanni to be your next groomer.
