Finally Auckland has a salon that specializes in hair extensions and coloring. Andrew Mae is a breath of fresh air in the hairdressing industry, the first salon I've seen in this( or any) country to take their passion for hair and direct it exclusively into the area of extensions. Getting a fresh set, there's a range of application methods you can choose from and they have tons of hair in stock. They install, color and blend o perfection and can provide best advice on your at home products too. Set in a beautiful old villa on dominion rd. (free parking out the back too!) Andrew Mae is classy, classic, relaxed and fully professional. I have had extensions done for about 20 years and had them done all over the world and I can wholeheartedly recommend Andrew Mae as the next place you should go to become the best, most gorgeous version of you that you can be.

During my stay in New Zealand, I visited Andrew Hair Salon twice to have my hair done. I wear keratin bonding extensions. At my first appointment, I had my old extensions completely renewed, and at the second visit, I was able to reuse them as they were still in excellent condition. I truly appreciate the high-quality work done at the salon. The hair they provide is of outstanding quality, and the staff is extremely friendly and offers excellent advice. I can highly recommend Andrew Hair Salon to anyone.

The team are all amazing! You can tell it’s a lovely place to work because they all get along and are happy. I just loved getting extensions. Really high quality and quick to have put in. Also…the coffee, tea and water is beautifully presented and very very nice! Highly recommend to anyone looking at wanting to get extensions!

Highly recommend Andrew Mae if you’re thinking of getting any extensions. They have knowledge in all applications but I went for nano bonds as it’s what I’m used to. The colour match is amazing (they took time to tone the hair to make sure it matched perfectly) and cut it so well you can’t tell I’m wearing them. They were also so lovely and managed to do my consult and have me fitted within a couple of days so I had new hair in time for my birthday. 10/10

The team at Andrew Mae are always professional, friendly and eager to make your experience. With being on shift work they always accommodate my last minute bookings. This is my treat to myself in a busy lifestyle and it is always a pleasure. I’m a low maintenance gal and thought the up keep of extensions would soon become tiresome but they are fast and efficient and the prices are very reasonable. I always walk out feel great.
