Absolutely amazing experience with Camille ! From the moment I walked into the studio, she made me feel so welcome and at ease. She created a private, comfortable space and gave my project her full attention — even through all of my (many!) little adjustments, she stayed warm, patient, and incredibly caring.
It honestly felt like my tattoo meant just as much to her as it did to me. Camille was so encouraging and enthusiastic throughout, and the result was perfect. She worked efficiently without rushing, and I’m absolutely delighted with how it turned out. It was a self-designed piece and she truly honoured that.

I can’t stress this enough, this is the best place to get a tattoo in Auckland. Fair prices, great atmosphere and tattoo artists that truly have artistic souls, they give their everything for not only a good tattoo but a great one.
I stayed in Auckland twice, each time for 3 weeks. Both times I got a tattoo done at Chapter 2 and both times Adrian designed me a tattoo that exceeded my expectations by far. I’m so happy, those are my favorite souvenirs from my trip to NZ. I’m going to treasure them forever, I wish I could take this whole studio home with me because they are just the best!

I wanted to get a tattoo on my study abroad and this place was amazing. My friend and I walked in the day before we got them and talked to Adrian who helped us personalize our ideas. Habe mir hier meine Neuseeland Reise verewigen lassen.
Die Terminvergabe lief unkompliziert über Instagram und alle Fragen, die ich im Vorhinein hatte wurden geklärt.
Im Studio herrscht eine ruhige Atmosphäre, die Artists sind super lieb und nehmen sich Zeit. Das Tattoo, das mir Benshi gestochen hat wurde wunderschön.

One thing that sold me to this place was their website. Had all the information you need when researching for a tattoo place. Communication prior to my day was awesome, I was able to get my tat earlier then expected. Come to the day, we spent alot of time chatting about the design, what I wanted until I was happy. The result was perfect. It has small intricate lettering which had me worried I wouldn’t be able to read it, but I was proven wrong, every word I can read. Post tat, I was sent a link to care for my tattoo, which shows me how caring he is for his clients. Will definitely come back and 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a tat.

Have been coming to The Tattooed Heart for over 10 years. I needed massive coverups on both my horrible sleeves. Adam did an amazing job at covering poor work done by a different shop. 100% reccomend this place for any tattoos.

Went to Tattoo heart while it was in K Road got two tattoos from Adam and going back to get my last two tattoos from Adam my first two from Adam were amazing work high expectations for my last 2. Adam has done large works for me with his ideas as well as mine working together. I’ll miss chatting to Cat and wish her all the best.

If you’re considering getting a tattoo, I’d suggest going somewhere else because the service here leaves a lot to be desired. I recently took my mom for her first tattoo, and we spent about an hour carefully choosing a design that would be meaningful to her. We’d even booked an appointment the day before, informing them we were coming in for a tattoo. It wasn’t as if the place was overly busy or filled with people waiting.
Lance, one of the tattoo artists, was particularly rude. He kept pressuring us to decide quickly, eventually telling us to leave and come back the next day when we knew exactly what we wanted. Despite that, we managed to finalize the design and get the tattoo that day. But when we got home, we noticed it wasn’t quite right—it lacked a neat finish, and even the simple heart design was poorly done. It clearly needed a minor adjustment.
The next day, we returned for a quick fix, which would only take a minute. Lance seemed irritated by our return and even swore, saying we were wasting his time and could “get out” if we didn’t like it.
Nowadays, customer service is essential for any business, but it seems some people don’t get that. If you want to grow your business, working on attitude and customer service is key. Thankfully, Liesje stepped in and made sure we were taken care of, but the experience with Lance was a major disappointment.

Very friendly and ambitious team.
The woman at the reception was eagerly helping me trying to find a good motive for the tattoo since I only had an vague idea.
The artist (I’m saying artist because what he does is beautiful art) was friendly and came up with his own idea’s for the tattoo.
He was gentle and very professional. If you are a fan of older rock music, you gonna love it because that’s what he likes to hear while doing his work.

I’ve never left a review but my experience getting my first piercing from Jess was so amazing that I had to.
I was really nervous about getting my ears pierced but Jess walked me through the whole process, was really patient and hyped me up before and after the piercing which made me even more excited. They were just lobe piercings but she was really detailed and in my opinion they came out perfect. She even went the extra mile and asked if I would like future lobe piercings and told me that if I did, she would go further down to leave space, which was something I didn’t even consider. Everything was super sanitary and the whole atmosphere was really welcoming. I never felt rushed and I enjoyed the entire process
The receptionist Cat was also super nice and walked me through all the aftercare while I was waiting for my booking. She also hyped me up along with Jess which felt really reassuring and overall she just had an amazing and bubbly personality. I made a phone booking earlier on in the day and she sounded really nice over the phone as well, and she was able to put me in later in the afternoon.
I don’t even feel my piercings anymore and they don’t hurt at all even when I touch them.
I’ve already recommended them to all my friends I’ve seen since yesterday so definitely go to the tattooed heart if you’re thinking of getting a piercing! Can’t wait to get more future piercings here.
