Bungalow Bills Music Shop is awesome! Bill was super helpful and really knows his stuff. I bought a Sigma Travel Guitar here, and it's fantastic. Great selection of instruments and gear. Perfect spot for all music lovers. Highly recommend!

Bill is a hell of a guy, really knows his stuff and has a lot of great experiences to share! Really looked after me when I came in looking for a guitar. And didn't push anything, I felt very free to say no. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an instrument! Top notch shop

Bill is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind man. His shop is full of instruments ranging from affordable new models to priceless vintage gems. He sold me an excellent acoustic guitar at a great price complete with all of the necessary accoutrements. He even got out his drill and installed a strap button before I left the store. Highly recommend stopping in and picking something up. Make sure you block off enough time to truly enjoy the store. Bill also runs a recording studio on-site which I plan to check out in the future. Great shop run by a genuine guy.

Such a lovely expierence! Especially as someone that doesn’t know anything in the music instrument world! The owner was very kind, patient and went over and beyond to help me with my purchase. Will highly recommend bungalow bills to anyone professional and not in the music world ☺️

I had a great time at Bungalow Bill's today! Was looking for an accoustic guitar to take on my travels in NZ for the next year and Bill gave me valuable and honest advice, and let me take my time playing a number of guitars for hours! When I left after spending all morning here, I had an amazing vintage Suzuki, good music recommendations, and had had really nice and interesting conversations with Bill all along!
This shop is a must go for anyone looking to buy a guitar in NZ, here you will find great choice, great advice and great chats.

Bill is a true legend, This shop is full of all sorts of goodies that are very hard to find elsewhere. Bill himself, is a fantastic lad, incredibly knowledgable and has a massive passion for music which shows in his customer service. If you are looking to purchase an electric/acoustic guitar, I would totally recommend popping into his shop to see what is there, or even pop in just to have a chat... Bill is always great for a yarn!

Excellent music shop with a kind and knowledgeable owner.
Some incredible guitars and amazing pieces of music equipment in there. Everything is highly curated and of a very good quality.
Was looking for ages for the right acoustic guitar and Bill showed me his amazing collection and I found a great vintage Sigma I am very happy with.
If you are in the market for a guitar you’d be a fool to not stop in at Bill’s. I can garuntee you’ll find guitars in this store you won’t find anywhere else!
