Cornwall Park: The Chill Spot with Cows, Views & a Bit of History Big, green, and beautiful — Cornwall Park is basically Auckland’s backyard. Whether you're into walking, jogging, hiking, cycling, or just pretending to be fit while taking selfies, this place has you covered. There’s an easy hike up to One Tree Hill, and at the top, you’ll find the Logan Campbell Monument (yes, it's a monument and his grave — confirmed!). He’s basically the guy who gifted this park to the people, so a big thanks to him for giving us somewhere to hang with sheep on weekends. Speaking of which — cows and sheep roam freely like they own the place (and honestly, they kinda do). It’s family-friendly, photogenic, and filled with massive trees that make you feel tiny in the best way. Toilets? Yes. Parking? Plentiful — with multiple entrances. Crowds? A little heavier in the evenings, but still peaceful enough to pretend you're in a countryside movie montage. **"Logan was here… paying respect to Logan Campbell, no relation (I think)."

Cornwall Park is one of those places that feels like a little escape in the middle of the city. There’s plenty of space to walk, run, or just relax under the trees. The views from One Tree Hill are always worth the climb, and the mix of open fields, gardens, and grazing sheep gives it a unique charm. It’s great for families, solo strolls, or picnics on a sunny day. Easily one of Auckland’s best outdoor spots.

Beautiful place to walk with trails/paths appropriate for all skill levels and ages. The animals are beautiful and with a cafe, a creamery and a bistro, there is no shortage of good food. There are also barbecue grills and plenty of space for families to picnic.

This park is absolutely beautiful! Definitely a family favourite to visit each time we come to Auckland. The grounds are manicured and strolling around is such a delightful experience. The Cafe is wonderful to enjoy a coffee, wine or a bite to eat. I highly recommend you visit Cornwall Park. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely love Cornwall Park! The walking trails are some of the best I've come across — well-maintained, scenic, and perfect for all fitness levels.
