Good dance studio overall, but cleanliness needs improvement.
The studio has a lot of potential and provides a great space for dancing. However, it's often quite dirty, the mirrors are rarely clean, and when doing floor work, there's usually hair, dirt, and dust bunnies around. Considering this is a dance studio where cleanliness is essential for hygiene and comfort, I would expect the space to be much cleaner and better sanitised.

Extremely LGBTQ+ friendly studio.
Dance teacher Gabe has a professional yet laid back attitude making classes starter friendly and welcoming for all. He has massive respect for the OGs and teaches students the history of moves we learn allowing us to give credit to the communities dances originate from.
Reception is kind and helpful. All round a safe, clean, and community based environment for adults which is hard to find these days

I love coming here - recently did the 4 classes for $20 intro pack and it was definitely worth it. There's quite a few different genres to pick from, mostly beginner classes, and the intro pack allows you to try a few and find what works for you. A very welcoming environment with very cool people, super easy to have a good time.

Great class and great teacher. Walk in casual session on a Wednesday evening. Teacher moves around a lot to help people on all sides of the classroom. Great choreography and instruction. Keen to do it again soon.

If you're looking for a studio that's welcoming to dancers of all ages and skill levels in Auckland, then you must take classes here at Hit Dance Studio! The teachers are highly skilled, and are great at breaking down the choreographies so that it's easy to follow. They don't mind (even love it) when students ask questions, which is very appreciated. They offer so many different choreography styles too, so you can learn new things as you take classes.
I highly recommend Hit, whether you're just visiting Auckland, or planning to grow as a dancer too. 🙂

Best dancing studio in Auckland. I’ve been to several studios and finally decided to stay here as a member. It offers a variety of different styles and choreographers. I really enjoyed the classes there. Highly recommend to anyone who’s interested in dancing! Don’t hesitate to enjoy yourselves there!

I like that teachers teach different kinds of dance at different levels. Then, teachers teach me the way how to dance and repeat practice. Last, teachers are very friendly, willing to help me solve the problem.❤️
