The worst education experience I ever meet. English learning students hardly get any support from this institution, most of them need another term and spend more money to pass the exam.

It’s the worst descision of my life to be in this collage I faced a lot of problems .very slow support not for someone looking for better opportunity rather consider a collage far from city cause they won’t provide more opportunities and information the international students face a lot of problems and difficulties they know they are the visa providers that’s why they always show themselves se as a upper hand to you and no such job opportunities . Honest review All international students business rather than education .even sometimes professors have to cut syllabus when they don’t know how to do that difficult part .

Why often conferences or meetings are there on floor 1 during lunch time to take up lots of seats for students to have lunch??? Sometimes even have to go out to look for a place to eat lunch

If you are of Māori/Pasifika or non-European descent, you will not succeed here and if you do happen to obtain your qualification, you will have to work unnecessarily harder than those of European descent. I tried to officially complain to the institution in 2016 about my experiences, however my message fell on deaf ears and it traumatised me for years. I will say though that I loved my year doing the Certificate in Health, it was the Bachelor of Midwifery that challenged every move I made even though I had built a good relationship with the midwives in the hospital and community.

I love to study here. The lecturers and staffs were excellent and made me feel at home. The tuition fee is reasonable compared to the well-known uni. It's great because I can get the same level of qualification with fewer costs.
I know some of the students are not able to graduate from this institution, but hey, If you're not studying, don't expect to graduate. It's not fair for other students who study hard. If you guys want to earn money, don't blame OP if you fail. You came to OP for study not working.

I graduated from Otago Polytechnic at the end of last year. I had an incredible and positive experience in my uni. The lectures are professionals in their field and always answer questions and spare additional time for student support and development. My course was in an IT major and I learned new things and approaches because the program is cutting edge and contains all new trends as Data Science, CHI, etc. The staff also friendly and helpful, I got much help especially in the beginning when I was fresh to the country and frequently needed a piece of advice and the right person always was there. I am happy that I was studying here and every time remember my uni with much appreciations. Thank you to my teachers and people who work there very hard and help students every day, you made my life brighter and definitely open new doors! All the best!

Worst college to study as an international students. Fake promises, as matter of fact they offered internship in one of Travel agent which just have a small cabin and two chairs on top of that they have audacity to say that's the only option you have. Never ever recommend this collage to anyone. Specially, team who responsible for internship as if they doing big jobs where they just useless and sit in office and get paid by our money to do nothing. This collage is full of frauds and liers.
