Love Nandish Health! I’ve had and continue to have an amazing experience with Nandish Chiropractor. From my first consultation with Karen, the care has been professional, thoughtful, spiritual, and genuinely focused on long-term health and wellness. Dr Karen takes the time to understand your specific concerns, explains treatments clearly, and ensures you are comfortable throughout the process. I have gained significant relief throughout my Chiro journey with Nandish, and it has brought so much happiness and positivity to my life. I visited several years ago (2019), and actually had a migraine so bad the next day that I had to be hospitalized.

I don’t live in NZ anymore, so I forgot to write up a review, but if you’re getting your head cranked, be warned… I’ve been getting migraines on a frequent basis (1-2x a month) after visiting this chiropractor, whereas I didn’t suffer any migraines prior to the visit.

Best physio I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to way too many over the years. It’s expensive but absolutely worth it. I also highly recommend Emma Matthews, she went the extra mile contacting me outside of appointments and was very diligent with her assessments. Compared to other physio therapists I’ve seen for similar injuries, the rehab plan was much more comprehensive. Will definitely return when I inevitably wreck myself at a kickboxing class again

I can’t recommend Mikhaela (Mikee) enough! When I first met her, I had been in excruciating pain for a week and could barely walk. I had already seen another physio and a chiropractor, but nothing seemed to help, until I found Mikee. She is truly an angel!

From the moment I walked in, she listened carefully to my concerns, assessed my condition thoroughly, and created a treatment plan that prioritised pain relief before tackling the root cause. Unlike other physios who dive straight into the problem without addressing the pain first, Mikee knew exactly how to help me regain mobility and comfort before progressing with deeper treatment. That made all the difference in my recovery.

She is incredibly skilled, professional, and compassionate. Her hands are magic, she knows how to manipulate trigger points effectively while keeping the pain as minimal as possible. I’ve never experienced this level of care and expertise anywhere else!

Beyond her technical skills, Mikee has a warmth and kindness that make every session feel comfortable and reassuring. She genuinely cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to ensure they get the best possible results.

I feel truly blessed to have found her, and I won’t go to anyone else. Wherever she goes, I will follow! If you’re looking for a physio who actually listens, understands, and delivers results, Mikee is the one.

Urban Athlete have been great at getting me all fixed up and running again when I’ve hurt myself.

I first came in 2021 when I had only just started running, and had done too much too soon and really hurt my IT bands. Paul was fantastic and encouraging, even though I was such a beginner and sooooo slow and still quite chunky he still treated me like a “real” runner, he gave me some good strength and conditioning exercises that got me up and running again (literally!) and helped to foster my growing love of the sport.

And then in Feb 2023, after I had completely destroyed my legs doing the Tarawera 102km, and was scared I might have done permanent damage and never run again as I felt so crippled! I came back and saw Jamie. Jamie was great, super helpful and encouraging and full of good advice which helped me to improve my strength tremendously – and got my confidence back up too. I was back up to 80-100km weekly running within a couple of months and haven’t had any injuries since.

Even aside from the physios and their expertise, the receptionist is always really friendly and welcoming, even the newsletters/ emails are well worth reading as they are always full of excellent advice re running, training, strength & conditioning exercises. Most promo emails I bin without reading, but the Urban Athlete newsletters are always worth reading in full.

Also they are ACC funded, which obviously helps if you are on a budget.

Fully recommend 100%

Kirsty was amazing & very thorough. After asking a series of questions & having me complete a few exercises she diagnosed me with a breathing pattern disorder, which sounds bizarre that I’m not breathing properly, but… I know I’m often in fight or flight mode atm, so the result matches perfectly with the change that have happened in my family’s lived recently. Now I’m off to find someone to help me breathe correctly, which is through to the belly & not up in your chest #whoknew. I can’t thank Kirsty enough for helping me.

Recently started going to JF Physio for my knee injury. The staff are so kind and really do listen to what your needs are. I have had an amazing experience, from someone who was nervous about getting acupuncture and physio, I honestly can’t thank Nick and Matt enough for their support and understanding during my appointments. You have a loyal patient with me. Nick has helped so much and really taken his time with making sure I was comfortable and okay with everything he did during my treatments. I always feel at ease going there and getting my physio and acupuncture done because I just know I’ll be made comfortable and treated with upmost care. With the wealth of knowledge the team at JF physio has, I can honestly say, they will get you back on the mend! Would highly recommend paying these wonderful people a visit.

I saw Matt for physio after a lower back injury, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. His treatment and rehab plan were really high quality and tailored to what I needed—I feel so much stronger now, and my pain has improved significantly. One thing that stood out to me was how kind and reassuring Matt was throughout the process. When you’re in pain, having someone who genuinely cares and takes the time to listen makes a huge difference. I’m now back to doing the sports I love, and I’d highly recommend Matt to anyone dealing with injuries.

I was recommended Auckland Physiotherapy and in particular Mark Quinn when I was trying to find help for my elderly father who was suffering a very painful shoulder issue.

Mark is an exceptional physiotherapist who went above and beyond in helping my 87-year-old dad with his persistent shoulder pain. My dad was at his wits’ end, but Mark’s compassionate and thoughtful approach immediately put him at ease. He was incredibly accurate in his diagnosis, which was later confirmed by X-ray and ultrasound, and he ensured my dad received the necessary aftercare for his recovery. As a matter of fact, he went above and beyond his duty to make sure dad received the medical attention he needed. Mark’s professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly set him apart.

The office staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend Mark and Auckland Physiotherapy as a whole to anyone in need of expert physiotherapy care

I’ve been to Auckland Physiotherapy for two separate injuries—one about three years ago and now again for my current issue. Both times, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the level of care and expertise.

Mark, my physiotherapist, is thorough in his assessment and created a tailored treatment plan that really worked. I recovered quickly from my first injury, which is why I didn’t hesitate to return when I needed help again.

The staff are friendly, professional, and always make you feel at ease. The clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for effective treatment.

I can’t recommend Auckland Physiotherapy enough for anyone in need of physiotherapy. They truly go above and beyond to ensure you get the best possible care!

Great experience and friendly team. Went to see Rachel for postnatal pelvic health. Rachel is really professional and knowledgeable. She gave me a complimentary call two weeks ago and I knew then she was the right person to go to. Rachel started with enquiry about my concerns and shared general knowledge about postnatal health; then she showed the pelvic model and dived into professional knowledge which was made easily understandable by her. Then she did an internal examination and guided me through contractions and relaxation to see if each muscle is working properly. This was the big part and she really reassured me about my recovery. The last 15mins was spent on back massage. It was such a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back. Unfortunate for Rachel’s clients but fortunate for her, Rachel is moving to Canada in three weeks with her family. All the best to Rachel!

Friendly team there too. Easy claim with both ACC and private insurance.

Auckland Physiotherapy gave me the most professional and caring physiotherapy service I’ve ever experienced.

Mira took on the task of caring for an inflamed, painful and stiff bursa on my left shoulder that pretty much rendered my left arm useless, with a bright, encouraging, cheerful attitude that made such a difference even before the treatment started. She designed a tailored programme that I could work through, with videos to help me do the exercises the proper way, and made sure I stuck to the programme – she even made a video herself to address a gap in the exercises. At every 1-on-1 session she took the time to explain to me in detail exactly what was happening as well as what should be happening. As a result, my shoulder is almost completely back to normal in 6 months.

The support from the team was also amazing, with reminder emails and messages for invoices and appointments – plus the online resources that I can still use, free of charge, even after discharge, and the timely advice on ACC and insurance.

I highly recommend Auckland Physiotherapy – massive thanks to Mira and the team, I really appreciate it!
