Kowtow are the unicorn of NZ fashion - beautiful clothes, shoes, bags and jewellery, good range of sizes, kind and helpful staff, serene spacious store and the most brilliant ethics. They've even started a unique Relove programme, where they buy back your Kowtow garments and sell on so they get a second life. I'm a loyal customer for life

I am so impressed by Kowtow's recent repair service - the dress I bought two years ago started slightly ripping under one arm, and I thought it might be the end of my favourite dress. I emailed the Kowtow team with photos and told me they could fix it for free if I posted the dress to them! It's a stunning piece that I always thought of as an investment that has paid off. It was a few hundred dollars, but I wear it to work, out with dressier shoes, and always look fabulous and feel comfortable. I am absolutely stoked it has been given a longer life thanks to the amazing Kowtow team and am so grateful for this amazing Aotearoa brand - if you're thinking about investing in one of their pieces, I would 100% recommend!!

Came in to the Newmarket store the other day and had the best service imaginable!
I was helped by the sunniest and bubbliest person ever named Jazz who made the best recommendations. I walked away with some great new sustainable cotton pants and feeling like a million dollars
Highly recommend Kowtow Newmarket to everyone, and I hope they all get to meet Jazz and have the same great experience I did.

Love this label. The quality of the cotton I’ve found really good, consistent, reasonable weight, holds its shape and doesn’t shrink (when you follow the instructions). Staff are lovely and helpful and it’s also great that the sizes are generous meaning a wide range of shapes and sizes can fit this label. This year I’ve noticed a different weight of cotton "summer weight", I’m yet to wear the dress and trial how the cotton stands up to wear but there’s nothing that would make me think it wasn’t going to be good.

Walking into the store on a seemingly quite yet consistent day, I was assisted and styled by Jaz, who provided the most amazing customer service and styling advice. I shared my brief and also that I was intentionally window shopping, and she served me to the same standard that she would to purchasing customers. Jaz is a Kowtow ambassador and shows the same integrity that the label does. Preferring to shop sustainably, she was never pushy and encouraged me to take my time and mull over my choices. I will certainly be coming back to purchase my items. It is both so lovely to wear good quality, well sourced clothing as much as it is to support businesses who have excellent employees. Thank you so much Jaz - I'll be coming to buy from you soon!

It’s always a pleasant experience buying from the store, great quality items. I prefer going to the store than buying online because they’re always nice and happy to help, Julia is super friendly and attentive I’m surprised by her attention to detail, great advice and good memory!
But if you buy online shipping it is super fast!

Have been to this shop twice recently, and the girl working there on Thursdays/Fridays is seriously one of the friendliest sales assistants I've ever come across. Elevates the experience to feel like it's a luxury brand, and both times I've walked out feeling really happy with my purchases 🙂 She was helpful but never pushy which is amazing A++++!
