We have had such a positive experience with Scratchpad. My 8 year old son has been attending regularly and really enjoys the experience. The students can progress at home and we’ve found this to be a great complement to typical “screen time” games and activities. The staff are very professional and perfectly tailor the programme to suit the learning needs of each student. It’s grown a real interest in technology and is building valuable skills for the future beyond the classroom.

I have no reservation in recommending Scratchpad to parents looking to give their children exposure to technology in a supportive and safe environment.

Our son has been participating online in the Ninja learning programme and has gone from strength to strength in both knowledge and confidence. The tutoring team are always readily accessible in real time as required. Booking flexibility and adjustments are made easy and very welcome with today’s unpredictable lifestyles. The team also communicate with me as progress is made and the tools available to facilitate learning outside of his sessions is outstanding.

Awful school. One of those schools that you pass if you pay, they don’t care much if you learn or not. At least half of the lecturers just give you tutorials but don’t even try to teach anything. They change the subjects without previous notice.

The best English language school in New Zealand. Set in a gorgeous, red brick, heritage listed building, this school is special. The staff are friendly, the classes and bright and spacious and the lessons are full of bespoke lessons. The teachers take students on activities all over the island – enriching their learning and immersing them in an English speaking environment.

I had been here for 367 days, and trust me when I tell you, it will only feel like three months. What I can say about #KaplanAuckland is that they have the best teaching methods, learning materials and staff you could ever asked for. They can deliver their message in a way you would never expect. You might feel bored at some points, but you will definitely miss this place as soon as you pronounce your last word of your graduation speech, just like I do now.

ワーホリで3ヶ月だけこの学校に通っていました。英語が話せなくても、先生はフレンドリーで生徒に対して尊敬して接してくれます。日本人の生徒はほとんどいませんが、代わりにいろんな国の友達ができました！毎週金曜には様々なアクティビティがあり、クラスメイト以外の友達を作ることができ、休憩時間には学校の近くのカフェに行ったり、放課後にランチしたり、パーティーをしたり、素敵な思い出をたくさん作ることができました。オークランドに留学することがあれば、ここの学校を強く勧めます

J’ai pu effectuer un séjour de 4 semaines à Auckland, avec l’organisme EF. Je ne vous recommande absolument pas de partir avec EF ou de laisser vos enfants partir avec EF. Il y a un grand manque de transparence avant le départ ce qui est vraiment dommage venant d’une aussi grande enseigne. Les activités sont hors de prix et celles qui sont ” gratuites ” ne sont pas réellement des activités. J’ai effectué plus de la moitié de mon séjour dans une classe de 11 élèves, dont 8 étaient français. Ce qui ne favorise absolument pas la concentration et l’évolution. J’ai réglé un séjour pour 80h de cours, je n’en ai eu que 68h. J’ai donc contacté l’agence qui me laisse sans aucune réponses depuis maintenant 12jours, malgré plusieurs relances. Je suis une étudiante seule, très loin de mon domicile et EF n’a aucun scrupule à nous faire payer des sommes astronomiques, pour ne même pas nous faire bénéficier de la totalité des heures réglées. Je trouve vraiment cela inadmissible et très grave. Il existe énormément d’organismes bien plus correct. Je ne recommande sous aucun prétexte.

ホームステイガチャが酷すぎる。4ヶ月ほど滞在しましたがホームステイ先のご飯が不味く変更希望を出しても変更先がないと3週間言われ続けました。授業はグループしかないので英語初心者にはちょっとしんどいかも。また、下のクラスは日本人しかいないので英語が上達しない。日本人と関わらないようにしてる人も居たがほぼ不可能。ニュージーランド留学を検討してる人がいたらよく考えて自分のレベルが低いならフィリピン等英語教育が熱心なところに行くべき。

Mon expérience au sein de l’école EF Auckland était tout simplement incroyable. Malgré le fait que j’y sois resté seulement 3 semaines, mais en si peu de temps j’ai pu faire de nouvelles rencontres avec des étudiants du monde entier.

L’équipe ainsi que les enseignants étaient bienveillant, très aidant et toujours à l’écoute. J’ai pu participer à certaines activités, j’ai pu découvrir la ville d’Auckland et ses environs.
Je n’oublie pas de mentionné Imelda, ma famille d’accueil qui a été comme ma grand-mère et toujours au petit soin avec moi et ma colocataire.

C’était une expérience vraiment riche et unique, je tiens à remercier chacun et chacune d’entre vous pour ses 3 semaines passés avec vous.
Je vous avoue aussi que j’ai très très envie de revenir.

Je vous recommanderai à la jeunesse et ainsi qu’à tous ceux qui veulent apprendre l’anglais.

The experience with this school was extremely terrible, the host houses does not have the standards that you expect to receive. They are so far from the school, the schedules are absurd, the teachers teach you with YouTube videos that you can watch at home without paying for it, additional the students assistant is very bad and the follow-up of the host houses simply is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m still waiting for the refund of the amount I didn’t use for the transfer from the host house to the airport. As every process will surely be ignored. Any way if you are thinking improve or learn English please double check. New Zealand got a lot of good school options don’t waste your money with this school.

J’ai fait EF Auckland Les professeurs sont très biens. Tu te fais aussi beaucoup d’amis étrangers avec qui tu discutes en anglais. C’est aussi comme ça que l’on progresse. Faites vous des amis, échangez en anglais,sortez de vitre confort. Si vous avez des doutes, les professeurs sont là pour vous aider à vous améliorer

Il y a beaucoup d’activités, dommage que certaines activités soient limités. Par exemple, je n’ai pas pu avoir ma place lors d’une activité sur 4 jours. Le quota était atteint.

私は、キウイイングリッシュアカデミーで3ヶ月勉強しました。
最初は、友だちができるか、英語の勉強についていけるか、とても緊張していました。
しかし、海外の友だちをたくさん作ることができ、英語の勉強もたくさん学ぶことができました。
先生も、生徒もみんな優しくて、
宿題を確認しあったり、金曜日には一緒にご飯に出かけたり、
グループワークや、ディベート、アクティビティーで盛り上がりました。
今でも思い出すと笑えてきたり、心が温かかくなったりします。

カウンセラーの先生もホームスティや滞在について、しっかりサポートしてくれました。
本当にありがとうございました。

I recommend this school!
I studied at this school for about a year in total. At first it was hard for me, since I started learning English almost from scratch, but every month I felt a noticeable progress in my knowledge. During this time, I managed to get lessons from all the teachers of this school and I am delighted to say that they are all real professionals! I would especially like to mention the lessons with teacher Anna, she perfectly revealed grammar, gave a lot of practice, corrected my mistakes and consolidated my knowledge by holding fun games in the classroom. I also spent a lot of lessons in Rob’s teacher’s class, I don’t have enough words to describe how cool he is, I just want to thank him for my knowledge! As well as to all the other teachers who taught me for less than a long time, I also say thank you very much! I confidently recommend any teacher of this school. I am very pleased with my English proficiency result, I have achieved my goal. Thanks to Elena and Motoko for their invaluable help in various issues related to accommodation and medical support and their organization of various activities! I also want to note the very convenient location of the school, which can be reached from any area of the city by bus or train.
In conclusion, I would like to note the warm, kind and, one might say, homely atmosphere created at the school by principals Rachel and Kate. The time spent at this school will always remain in my memory.

Kiwi English is a great school, I’m ending my journey at school very happy with my learning progress. The Kiwi school is perfect for those just starting out, as classes are not overcrowded and teachers have a dynamic approach to each class level.

I started with zero English, and at first I was nervous but with time everything got better and I still have a lot to learn. My teachers were wonderful, Yuan and Rob who are very special and charismatic teachers, Rachel, Katie, Motoko and Elena are lovely people and are always available for improvements and to make students comfortable.

Teachers and administration always analyze whether the student has any difficulty, they can talk about it and try to help in any way possible so that the student can improve their performance and overcome the difficulty, and this helped me a lot.

I was able to make new colleagues of different ages and nationalities and this helped with my progress in communication. I felt very comfortable during my journey and I am very happy with my learning progress.

I will definitely be back soon.

Well, time flies when you are staying with friends, even though I’m probably the student who studied here for the longest time. I’m very proud of the fact that I got the ILETS score which I needed, Thanks to the support form the staff in KEA. Since I came and studied here, not only the my English skills but also my social skills had improved a lot. And I’m also very happy to be able to know so many new friends from all over the world, let me learn and know about different cultures and interesting things. The period of time in KEA will be the experience that I will never forget .

After being a regular student for 2 semesters in total , I reached out to reception to book private tutoring. Waisted my time/energy/money trying to sort my private classes with no luck. After paying a thousand dollars up front, the staff could not handle the booking properly and keept suggesting alternatives that was not agreed at payment.

Even to get a refund was a drama.
Oh hey, they offered me 10% off for the inconvenience/miscommunication for a future return. HAHA

The problems were: miscommunication, unprofessionalism, disorganisation, lack of customer service, not able to follow up properly, lack of training, being straight forward about being able to provide the service or not, etc.

Please learn somewhere else!
