Manukau After Hours Veterinary Clinic

I truly appreciated the care and compassion the team showed us. The vet was gentle, thorough, and took time to explain everything clearly despite the urgency. It was a very emotional time, but I felt reassured knowing my dog was in capable and kind hands. Thank you for supporting us through such a difficult moment.

The team did a really good job at taking our Taika in after he cut his paw badly during one of our walks. We were seen within 30-40mins by the vet (not long at all). but while waiting the nurses and reception made sure he had water and updated us on how far the vet was. When we were seen by the vet, he was clear and concise about the treatment and made sure to tell us all options (both good and bad) that were available. When we left him at the vet for his procedure, they also updated us when they were done and how our dog was doing. It’s been over 2months now and Taika’s paw has healed really well and our usual vet in ormiston also commended the Job that the emergency vet did and reassured us that they did a really good job and that they were happy with how the stitches were put in. Thank you so much (apologies we can’t remember the name of the vet or nurses that were on that day)

MAHVC have been incredible. When I first found my kitten Millie on the road, they saw us straight away and were so kind and thorough. More recently, they helped us say goodbye to our dog Ella with compassion, clarity, and care. They gave us time to make decisions and treated her with such gentleness. We were so touched to receive a card afterward with her paw prints and a lock of her fur, such a beautiful gesture from an emergency clinic. Thank you for everything.

I'd just love to say thank you to the Team from Manukau After Hours Vet clinic as the tried their best to take care of my fur baby (Buddy) he was my cat from a kitten and i had to make the hardest decision of my life putting him to sleep but especially wanna say thank you to the Nurse lily she was loving and caring she explained it & made it more easy to understand and let my baby go peacefully. So thank i truly highly recommend this after hour vet. So thank you again from me and my family we truly love and appreciate the help from you guys

Had to go there in an emergency with a very sick, much loved cat. They were the kindest, most sensitive humans I have ever come across. Respectful and gentle. They thought of everything we might need, and made space for the sorrow and pain of what faced us. They followed up after two weeks with the sweetest card. Bear in mind this was a one-off emergency visit. They did not know us at all. I am grateful for their support at that time.

I cannot praise Manukau After Hours team highly enough. We ended up having to make that dreaded choice to say goodbye to our sweet girl and the care and empathy shown by the team was truly appreciated. We had a good conversation with the vet, I felt well informed... we were not rushed and were given the time we needed to say goodbye. It was, of course, a really hard visit... I'd like to say a special thank you to vet nurse Lily who took the time to capture paw prints for us and they arrived yesterday. Oh, my heart. ❤️ ‍⬛️ Thank you so, so much, I will love them forever. I'm actually using them as my screen saver.

We brought our dog to the Manukau After Hours Vet in an emergency and were so grateful for the care he received. The team was thorough, compassionate, and professional throughout. Excellent service and clear communication made a stressful situation much easier. Highly recommend!
