New Windsor Medical Centre

Came to support my fiancé, spent around $100 for two visits which is quite frustrating. At the first visit, we explained she was low on iron. The second visit, the doctor made us come all the way back just to confirm her iron levels were low and then prescribed iron supplements. This could have easily been done with a two-minute phone call or an email. Also, both times there was no one else in the reception area, yet we waited 30 minutes before being seen. Disappointing, to be honest.

We book for Imm Medical but i’ve go another place for Xray, i went there on time but still wait about 20 mins. The nurse don’t know where are my vein to do blood test, totally I have 5 time of injection and then they blame that I do not have breakfast . Then they send me to Awanui Labs. Not professional !!!!

Dr Tony An is a very professional and takes good care of my medical needs. His staff and reception are great and always willing to go the extra mile. It is a good clinic with appointments aplenty so you don't have to worry about missing an appointment as they close at 5pm. Highly recommended doctor.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Personally found this doctor to be ok, no real issue but my wife has had other experiences with my young baby. She is a first time mum not knowing a lot with our son and often goes to get things checked. Today she was told this rash is a heat rash on him, when she pushed further with some questions he said "I have other patients to see, look at him he is fine". Even telling her a few times "You are not answering my question" this gets repeated a few times even happened to me. However, the questions are being answered if he would listen. Found this behavior disappointing in a doctor and rude. We are not doctors, how can we possibly know every issue is not a major? Very unhappy with his attitudes and would not recommend this doctor at all. Thanks for your reply, but was not 30 minutes, we often wait much more than the booking time anyway but this I expect for a medical service and understand. However, we are not experts, we go to the doctor for expect advice, hence we pay you for this. Never had this kind of experience in all the times I have ever seen a doctor and do not accept this at all as acceptable.

The lock-down puts a lot of strain on daily life, but the staff and doctor at New Windsor Medical Centre provide services to aid out at such difficult times, making life a lot easier. The receptionists are friendly and helpful, and the doctor is experienced. The first telephone consultation encounter went nicely. Thank you to everyone at New Windsor Medical Centre.

I recently registered at this practice and I regret it. The services listed on the website isn’t what they actually offer (which is why I registered in the first place). I have also been waiting for over almost two weeks to hear back about an ACC claim (I followed up twice and was told I would get a call back the same day which I didn’t). I’ve just given up at this point.
