Have had a windscreen claim and another claim for accident and Star was brilliant to deal with. All staff were quick to reply and got the claims approved very quickly. Keep up the good work guys. And highly recommend Star Insurance. Top class service

My motorhome broke down an hour from home. Rang Roadside Assistance on Star Insurance contact number. Great communication and a very quick turnaround to get my camper towed home. What a stressless operation from start to finish. I highly recommend Star Insurance

Don’t recommend at all, especially if you are backpacker or traveler. They scammed me with their roadside option I payed for 6 months and they canceled it after 3 months in their system. My battery died on the eastern weekend and I had to call on the roadside emergency number for them to help me. They told me I had to pay for it since they see my contract is expired. I tried to explain to them that I payed for 6 months, proposed to send them my contract but they didn’t want to hear anything - they told me I had to wait until Tuesday (after Easter). My car window was open and it was raining so I couldn’t wait. They assured me they are gonna check with the insurance on Tuesday and pay me back if my contract was okay. On Tuesday they sent me a text telling me it was cancelled and after sending more than 120$ on calls to them and sending my contract it appears they were wrong and I was still insured!! Since then, no news and I’m still waiting on a refund that’s never gonna come. Most probably they took advantage that i left the country and that I cannot call them again. I’ve came accross good and honest people all the way during my trip in nz, guess this company is an exception.
