Steel solar & electrical were one of three I approached for quotes . Dan was in touch the same day by phone and a couple of days later as planned, arrived for a site visit. Very professional explanation and analysis of options for us on site. Professional propsal arrived by email same day and I accepted. Installation went off without a hitch including a scheduling relay system for hot water heater and installation was sooner than originally suggested. App monitoring is superb and lets us keep an eye on power in real time. I have since recommended them to a friend and Dan has made a site visit and propsal to them too. First partial month of solar reduced our power from around $180 to $80 this month incl $38 we have fed back to the grid. I have fitted several appliance schedulers and am refining times to minimise power use and expect our full month bills to reduce even further. Going with these guys was the best decision I've made this year. I highly recommend the team!

I selected Steel Solar to install my solar system. They had a quick turnaround time, did what they said - were here when they said and installed in line with their promises - I can trust them, they were also very respectful of installing while my wife and baby were at home. They took the time to help design an effective system that suits me and my geeky ways, and have a great after care service which for a product such as this is probably undervalued. We got three separate quotes to install Solar power. The pricing was similar for all three. What made Steel Solar and Electrical stand out was the outstanding service. Jarrod Steel conducted a thorough on site inspection prior to providing a quotation. This included a full explanation of how solar power systems work. Recommendations on the optimum system size, based on our households electricity usage. Recommendations on where to install the solar panels, inverter and all cable routing. Jarrod also walked us through the various componentry available. Based on his information, we chose a quality inverter and main stream roof panels. The installation team; Solomon, Jordan, Hayden and others, did a great job, with quality workmanship. After the system was installed, Jarrod conducted a full on site commissioning process. He explaining how the system functions, and how to turn it on and off. Jarrod also connected the monitoring system to our computer so we can monitor and manage our solar power generation. We're 100% satisfied.

First contact through e mail, very quick reply and even quicker was Dan the man up here flying his drone over my little house and hard to believe but one week later the nice guys from Steelelectrical started the works, 3 days and it was all done and now i have a constant grin on my face when I open my app that comes with the system and an even bigger one when I look at my power bill, I m down to $1,60 per day. Once the new meter is installed and the unused power goes back to grid I might even get that back. Couldn’t have done a better job, thank you and I can only highly recomand.

Had a Sigenergy system installed by the guys at Steel Solar. Can't recommend them enough. Professional, friendly and high quality of workmanship. Only just had the system installed but I can already see it paying itself off.

Steel Solar installed a solar system supplied by Fisher & Paykel. The install was complex in that we had an existing installation, which the inverter and batteries had been damaged. This resulted in a retrofit to the existing panels and cabling. The work was carried out with minimum disruption and great care, with really clear communication.

These guys are just amazing. Jarrod and the team actually understand the concept of customer service. Installed a PW3 and a massive solar array - and it's stunning. Good pre-sales consultation, listened to what I was trying to achieve and came up with the perfect plan, and executed the installation flawlessly.
