Absolutely outstanding service from Tammy, Brendan, Dion and the team!! Dropped in to get some help with re-wiring some aftermarket LED tail lights on my VW Golf and Dion went above and beyond to get them working for me. Highly recommended Howick Auto & Electrical!! Woke up this morning to find our van had no power. We called Howick Auto Electrical and were taken care of immediately. The lady on the phone was exceptionally kind and arranged for us to come in within an hour so they could assess the issue. When we arrived, we were warmly expected and attended to without delay. Dion’s professionalism, care, and pride in his work were evident from the start. Instead of jumping to the most expensive solution, he suggested topping up the liquid and recharging the batteries first to determine the best course of action. We spent about five hours parked in the van while the batteries were charging. During this time, Dion and his team consistently checked in on us, ensuring we were comfortable and keeping us informed every step of the way. Unfortunately, once the batteries were charged, it became clear they were beyond saving. However, Dion went above and beyond to source high-quality replacement batteries at a great price. He even ordered them straight away so they’d be ready for us first thing Monday morning. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional service we received—honestly, the best we’ve ever experienced at an auto shop. If you need any electrical work done on your vehicle, I can’t recommend Dion and his team highly enough!

Dion managed to find out the cause of my issues in 1 day that my old mechanic couldn’t find in the last few months. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a way home and to make sure I wasn’t being ripped off. Trustworthy mechanics are appreciated! He was able to complete the work at a great price whilst giving me high quality parts. They provide mechanical services as well as auto electrician services which is convenient. Will be going here from now on!! A++++++

When we lived in Howick if we had any vehicle trouble Dion and team were our go to mechanics. Courteous, friendly, helpful, reasonably priced, and always a job well done. We've since moved back to Canada but always have good memories of time there and of course Dion, Tammy and the rest of the Howick Auto & Electric team.

Incredible service! We are travelling in our van atm and the batteries powering the living arrangements died. Dion could not be more helpful, tested our batteries, charged them and went through a range of budget options to find one that suits us. I don’t think I have ever had better mechanical service. Thank you guys!
