Amazing architecture with such great detail. Not far from Albert Park ( across the road ). Worth a visit even to see the outside only. Very impressive.

A unique and interesting building. After seeing the tower from the distance, I just had to go visit. The University of Auckland Clock Tower is impressive inside and out. I'm not sure what to say about the architecture other than unique. There's plenty of information regarding history. Just go and spend time talking it in.

The University of Auckland Clock Tower is a grade 1 historic place, built from 1923 to 1926, it stands at 26m tall. It's ornate architecture is very impressive!

Unweit des Albert Parks befindet sich der weithin sichtbare Clock Tower der Universität of Auckland mit seinen markant weißen Äußeren und Verzierungen sowie der nicht protzigen Bauweise. Erstaunlicherweise besteht er im Wesentlichen aus mit weißer Kalksteinhaut verblendetem Beton. Der Clock Tower mit seinen fast 100 Jahren ist das bekannteste Gebäude der University of Auckland und für die Öffentlichkeit kostenlos zugänglich Interessant ist ein Blick im Gebäudeinneren nach oben in die Kuppel des 54 m hohen Turms.
