The newly renovated playground is a fantastic addition, and it’s quickly become a favorite for my kids and me. The flying fox and long slide keep the kids entertained for hours, while I get to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Breathing in the fresh air and watching them play is pure joy. This park is perfect for family outings, romantic strolls, or even solo visits to recharge. Highly recommend!

Beautiful playground and good walk. I waited to visit this place since 2 yrs cos it was closed due to flooding. My grand daughter enjoyed playing here.

Great playground for kids and toddlers. The carpark is very limited which is the only downside we found. Thus, not recommended for a large gathering of over 30+ people as you may struggle with carpark issue. We enjoyed two picnics here this summer. One with my family of five and the other with a community group of 25 people. The short walk to Waikowhai beach is pram-friendly too.

Kid friendly park with lot of options to play. Big slide, small slides, flying fox, swings, see-saw and other climbing activities. Have a trial, look out and a nice picnic area with lot of options to sit. Tables, seating, parking and BBQ plates available for use.

park, playground and boat ramp are ok. its mudflat beach so not particularly pleasant for "beach stroll" some of the walking paths have been repaired since the 2023 landslide but others are still out of service.

Great park to walk around Just be a bit careful during non-peak hours as there are some dodgy people around. And in the past some cars windows have been broken into. But overall such a nice park with an OK beach. The road going down is a bit narrow though so be extra careful.
