We were a party of 4 looking for a wine tour in Auckland. Phil was the ultimate host. Very responsive in communication and able to tailor the tour to our specific requirements. Great wineries and food throughout the tour. Definitely recommend using HIL if you’re in Auckland and want a great experience.

Phil, our tour guide was very attentive and flexible to meet our tour timing needs. His tour schedule included 3 amazing Waiheke Is wineries and a spectacular lunch at the Mudbrick winery. My husband organised a surprise tour with Phil for our wedding anniversary. We had an incredible day!! Phil was an outstanding guide. He was informative and knowledgeable regarding the wine we tasted. We met lovely owners of the vineyards. Tony and Sue at Soljans winery gave us a personalised experience and gave the history of their family owned and operated business now heading into 5 generations. Lunch was delicious and we scooped 12 bottles of wine later and some great bargains. We will definitely do a tour again with Phil. We now have some ideas of where we might renew our vows next year 🙂
