Amazing gym! I've been training at Alliance BJJ for about 1/2 year with my daughter (9 years old) – and we both love it. The atmosphere is super friendly and family-like, with highly skilled and supportive coaches for kids/adults. BJJ is more than just a sport – it’s a philosophy of life, helping us build self-control, fitness, resilience, discipline, and strong values. I was just holidaying in Auckland a few weeks ago and dropped into Alliance Jiujitsu. Everyone was very friendly and the trainer and students welcomed me with open arm-bars and triangles . I loved the training sessions and open mats. It was a great vibe from the moment I walked in. I would like to thank everyone at Alliance for making me feel like part of the family!

Hi there. I’m 63 year old and have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Alliance Jiu Jitsu Auckland for the past 6-7 years. I’ve been very fortunate to have found a martial arts school that promotes and encourages older folks to have a go in a safe and measured environment. It’s a great way to stay fit and flexible as I age. If you are looking for a way to get fit with a purpose, surrounded by positive kind people and taught by world class instructors come have a look and book yourself a free trial. The hardest thing for me was booking a free trial and stepping through the gym doors on the day. The rest is history

I have been training with Alliance for over 2 years and wholeheartedly recommended them to everyone and anyone. The fundamentals, intermediate, and advanced classes are designed to cater to all skill levels and experience. The coaches, including national and world champions and competitors, provide invaluable insights and make learning engaging and enjoyable. Most importantly, the sense of community and camaraderie here is amazing; it truly is a wonderful team to be a part of. Been training at Alliance Mt Eden for a year now, and have had nothing but exceptional experiences. Paulo and the other coaches are knowledgeable and superb instructors. Even more importantly, they have fostered a strong community vibe at the gym which makes it a fantastic place to make freinds and learn together.
