Lana did my wedding makeup and I couldn’t be happier!

We did a trial first, and the execution was flawless. Then Lana carefully listened to all the little tweaks I wanted to do, wrote them all down and did exactly as I wanted on my special day. I wanted a natural look, skin-like texture, with the accent on the eyes and lips. My skin was perfect, nothing caked up, the makeup lasted all day – through sun, dinner, dancing, and looked flawless even when I came back home at midnight!

I also had a lash lift with Lana before the wedding, and it was perfect too!

Im happy and impressed – my first wedding make-up trial was so effortless and enjoyable! I’ve just came with a couple of pictures and didn’t really want to be specific. Lana is a professional who knows the next step and puts in all the effort and charisma to ensure the result is like from a magazine cover. Absolutely amazing experience with Camille ! From the moment I walked into the studio, she made me feel so welcome and at ease. She created a private, comfortable space and gave my project her full attention — even through all of my (many!) little adjustments, she stayed warm, patient, and incredibly caring.

It honestly felt like my tattoo meant just as much to her as it did to me. Camille was so encouraging and enthusiastic throughout, and the result was perfect. She worked efficiently without rushing, and I’m absolutely delighted with how it turned out. It was a self-designed piece and she truly honoured that.

I was so lucky to have Alvina do both of my tattoos in one session before she went on leave. She’s incredibly friendly and easygoing, which made communication smooth and stress-free. I had such a great experience here getting a nerdy Lord of the Rings tattoo while visiting Auckland! It’s such a lovely, chic, clean studio. It was my second tattoo, but my first time going by myself to get one, and the team here could not have made me feel more welcome and comfortable. I have been following Auckland Fine Line Tattoo Studio on Instagram for a while and knew I had to get tattooed by them one day. Today was finally that day. I was lucky enough to get tattooed by the lovely Alvina. The environment was super inviting and clean. She was friendly and very efficient with pristine results. I’ve wanted to get my childhood soft toy tattooed for a while and I don’t think I could’ve chosen someone better to do it. I am very satisfied with the outcome and will cherish it forever!

This was my second time at La Bises I did Viva Hair & Stonefull body massage, and once again, I absolutely loved it! The experience was incredibly relaxing from start to finish. ** Honest review** I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent appointment at your clinic for the Multiple Vitamins Hair Therapy, which I chose based on your glowing promotional content and promises of a high-quality, relaxing experience.

Unfortunately, the service I received did not match what was advertised in any meaningful way:

Product Used: The use of Pantene, a common supermarket shampoo, was extremely disappointing. I chose this treatment expecting premium-grade salon products, as implied in your promotions. I had to wash my hair again at home due to scalp irritation, which defeats the purpose of the treatment.

Cleanliness: The environment felt unhygienic, with visible hair on the floor and work surfaces. This does not align with the professional standards one expects from a beauty clinic.

Ambience: Far from the relaxing, soothing experience promoted, there was constant background noise that made it impossible to relax or enjoy the treatment.

The feet massage, hand and head massage were not even satisfying. I don’t feel any difference at all after paying that much of money. Where is the value for money here?

Overall Value: At $170, I feel the service was severely overpriced, and I left the salon feeling more stressed than pampered. The treatment did not deliver on any of the advertised benefits – no visible improvement, no relaxation, and certainly no transformation whether it is shinier hair or glowing hair!!

While I appreciate the staff’s politeness, the overall experience left me feeling let down and misled by your marketing. Given the gap between expectation and reality,

I hope you take this feedback seriously and respond by June 24 so we can resolve this directly and professionally. I am very disappointed after paying $170 and getting this kind of treatment. I am hoping for at least a refund to get over this awful experience

Cleanliness- 3/5 the salon is beautiful but little things make it a 3star salon. Like ants on the treats displayed at front table for clients, and someone put a sucked up lolly in the packet and back on the treat platter. Tea served was yum but made be wary if it was clean. The toilet was clean thank goodness.

Service – my therapist was so lovely but lack of English and little details were not executed well. For eg, I filled out the form with my details and it was not even read but plonked on the top of the front desk which had no one sitting behind it, therefore anyone could steal my details and know all my information. I gently said I’ll put it behind the counter and followed her to the room to get changed. The room she took me in had two beds and they had stained or dirty linen. Also the trolley was very dirty with things in them. Not very tidy or clean. I had to ask am I getting changed in here and than coming with you ? She said yes. I thought I’m supposed to lie on the bed. More training needs to be done with the therapist as she doesn’t explain anything.
She took me to another room which is shared with another person but her curtain was drawn and I was exposed as the door was full wide open. I could also see other women in another room getting their hair dryed in their gowns.
The treatment was not explained and i felt very anxious as to what’s happening. Massage was good and hair treatment was good but my hair was better off without the treatment actually. It just felt like hair got shampooed the hellout and no conditioning or treatment. My hair was so dry. But I paid for the vitamin hair treatment. Was abit disappointed as I was hoping for good results. Facial was also done on me but no product was put on my face after the treatment. My face was so dry I had to put hand cream on my face in the car before picking up the kids. This place is nothing special. You’ve got to make it like you say it is. It’s below average in my opinion. Very disappointed as this place could be amazing but small things let this place down. I’m being generous in giving it a 3star. I think my therapist was wonderful, just needs more training. It’s okay to talk to your clients about the treatment. It makes us feel comfortable knowing what’s happening. Hopefully this is taken onboard and better products are used as well.

I am so glad to have found this gem of a clinic and the lovely owner Mona. The laser treatment is very effective and I had started noticing changes in just two sessions. The hair growth has thinned out and has drastically reduced.
Mona is professional, patient, explains things thoroughly and is clearly passionate about her work. The clinic is beautiful. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

I recently had a clear and bright peel and laser at st Luke’s laser clinic and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff there are the most warm and welcoming people who make you feel so comfortable from the moment you arrive until the very end of your treatment. They’re extremely professional and pleasant.
The laser itself was smooth and fairly quickly, I did the Hollywood Brazilian and underarms which took about 5 mins, pain is very tolerable and staff make you feel very comfortable during the whole process. My other treatment I got was the clear and bright peel, she took the time to address all my concerns and aftercare instructions while doing the peel, it was very nice and I felt really refreshed and hydrated afterwards. I highly recommend services here

I have been a customer of this clinic for years and the service was amazing with friendly staff and services. HOWERVER, today I encountered the worst staff in all this years.
She was rude and disrespectful.When I asked her name she told me Charlene (which I’m not even sure if it’s true but she has ginger hair and eyelashes).
To be honest, if you are having a bad day just don’t go to work or at least learn customer service skills.
Always recommend this clinic to friends and relatives but don’t feel like it anymore. Felt ashamed and insulted by this person who was disrespectful even in front of other patients that where sitting in the reception.
Hope the manager in the future hires better staff for the other clients.
I’ll never return to this place again and I’ll not recommend it either.

This is the first ever treatment on my face ever. I was confused and not sure which one should i take but staff made it easy for me to understand and i took chemical peel treatment.
Most of my treatment has been done by khyati and she is just outstanding. Great skill, very friendly and hard working. I am sure she is gem in crown.

This is one of the best hair salons I have ever been to in Auckland. I came here many years ago for a perm and everyone in the salon was very skilled. So I chose them again for my hair dyeing. The salon products and hair dyeing materials used are of very good quality. I enjoyed the whole process. The staff have their own unique insights into aesthetics and beauty. In addition, they have a wealth of professional theoretical knowledge and respect the customer’s own ideas to give the most appropriate advice. I highly recommend it.

I’d heard about YX for a while, so when I finally went in, I had high expectations, and the experience absolutely delivered.

Jake did all of my hair, bleaching my (black) roots twice and lightening my already damaged blonde hair. Despite the complexity, it was an overall fantastic experience. I was truly impressed by the skill Jake demonstrated. The colour turned out even better than I had hoped, and he worked tirelessly to make sure I was happy with the result, and happy I am!

I also asked for a haircut that can be a bit tricky with my hair type, and he absolutely nailed it. It was exactly what I was looking for and more! Even with my bad styling skills at home, I still love the cut (second photo attached for my bad at home styling).

Beyond the excellent service, Jake was a fun and engaging person to chat with. He kept the entire appointment fun from start to finish.
