Our house hadnt been painted in 35 years and was in a state of disrepair, Sam and his workers did an amazing job of preparation and cleaning and painting, Now looks like i remember it when it was new. I watched with interest on a house near me being prepared for a complete external paint. The house had certainly seen better days. In all my years (80+ ) I could not believe the extent that the painters were stripping and preparing the weather boards, doors and windows etc. ready for painting. To this end, I introduced my self to the team as I had some remedial work that needed to be completed. The team was Sam the Blue Sky Painters. After seeing the professional approach and standard of workmanship I had no hesitation to employ the Blue Sky Painters. I am glad I did as they worked long hours when the weather was favourable, in order to catch up especially with the required care necessary in staining Sedar and Abodo timbers. When completed, they cleaned up and left everything as they found it. So, if you are looking for a professional painter, then look no further than Blue Sky Painters. Regrets not going with Blue sky at the start. Got someone who quoted a cheaper job but unfortunately lacked quality. You get what you pay for! Blue sky came around and not only fixed it but re-did all areas that were miss matched too! Highly recommended if you're looking for a top notch job!

Sam and team did a great job of my fence painting and were very patient as I worked through my colour preference. Sam puts customer satisfaction first and is very responsive and reliable. Highly recommend.

Sam from Blue Sky Painters stained my Cedar 2 storey house recently. It’s an architecturally designed home and a high quality build with copper corner soakers and copper joiners between each board. So the utmost care must be taken. Sam did an excellent job with attention to detail both with the preparation and the painting and was on time and for a very good price. He is trustworthy and I felt very comfortable dealing with him as I’ve moved out of Auckland and he was painting my house in Devonport which was empty. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam for any job. He is proud of the quality of his work.
