Writing an extensive review praising We Are Loud's music studio wouldn't be a challenge at all. My three kids have flourished under Jo's tutelage over the last few years, continuously improving their skills. Jo's insight into teaching children to play music that thrills, tests, and truly resonates with them has made practice times a joy rather than a chore. Their exploration of various musical genres has enriched their abilities and instilled in them a deep-rooted affection for the piano that's sure to last a lifetime.

Jo has been an absolute game-changer for my piano journey. After years of winging it and feeling lost without the basics, Jo came in and completely transformed my approach to music. With her patient guidance and knowledge, I finally pieced together the missing puzzle pieces of my musical foundation. Jo didn’t just teach me how to play, she showed me how to have fun with music and embrace the joy of playing without overthinking. 100% recommended to any one in any levels of music skill.

Brilliant Jo and her super team of teachers are very atuned to each of my children's individual desire to learn music. Their lessons are fun, engaging and tailored for their interests and abilities. We feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for our children to express themselves musically with freedom and creativity. With the very experienced guidance and support from their teachers they are able to become experts in their chosen instrument.

We Are Loud is just a great music school for all sorts of folks here in west Auckland. It's relaxed, mainly youngs but also some olds: folk soul rock punk indy classical jazz ... our experience is they're really just there to let the kids embrace whatever they're into. Jo runs the place and is super nice and welcoming to everyone and all the teachers are competent and engaging and supportive of the students, and they deal with students' families really well too. Also they tend to be pro musos in their own right, and they bring professional protocols into the room. That basically means they're well organised and really friendly. Regular concerts: awes. Also: serious talent in that school! Our family learned tons at We Are Loud. Total recommend.

So enjoyed We Ar Loud’s Christmas Concert at the end of last year! It was wonderful to see so many young people building their confidence and their music skills. Jo’s inspiration and the team of vibrant and supportive teachers have created a fun, safe and nurturing space for students to find their voices and grow their love of music.
