We used Southern Spit Road and BBQ Catering for our Wedding in April and were blown away with how delicious the food was! Everyone we have talked to post wedding has raved about how good the food was! The team were super professional, had amazing communication and could not have provided a better service so thank you and highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing company to use for catering. My whanau and I were absolutely blown away at the quality of food we were provided, the meat was tender and succulent, the salads were so damn delicious, you wanted thirds. And the desserts, golly, we've never consecutively agreed on something but for my wedding, we all agreed SSR was outstanding and worth every single dollar.
Shelley and her amazing hard-working team were literally perfection and I will definitely be utilizing them from now on for any event.
Thank you so much team for making my wedding the amazing event it was. The service and food nearly outshone me and my dress.

Highly Recommended ‼️The staff were friendly , communication was immaculate, the service was above and beyond , the presentation was amazing! The food was absolutely incredible ! Not only was it the most tastiest islander style food we’ve had but there was definitely an abundance of it ! We had a lot more people show up to our event and we had LEFTOVERS ! We got many compliments and it wouldn’t have been possible without this amazing company ! Thank you guys ! We don’t have much photos coz we took videos but i would Book every week if i could. This view only shows salad the meat is at the far end ! A lot of Bang for your buck ‼️

We held a family function and being Pacific Islanders you can never be too sure
of the numbers who would attend and timing lol! We just want to thank the team at Southern Spit Roast & BBQ Catering there was more than enough food and many compliments received about the food. So easy to deal with from booking, the setting up of buffet, starting time for serving food, packing away of left over food and the cleaning up.
Special mention to Hilda and Denah who worked at our function they were
so helpful and approachable just blended in really with the family especially working in the kitchen. We definitely recommend their service!

We booked SSR to cater and deliver to us. To be honest I didn’t really have high standards but all I wanted to do was feed lots of people quickly, boy was I pleasantly surprised! Awesome delivery! Awesome hands on lady who got in and placed everything out. Good food! Please send me the gravy recipe! Why does my gravy never taste like that? Couldn’t wait to get out of bed and eat the leftovers for breakfast! Was proud to have you as our caterers and would recommend and use you again. Thank you so much!☺️

The food was absolutely perfect! We had so many guests raving about how outstanding it was. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were amazing in accommodating our gluten-free guests. Everything ran smoothly, and we couldn’t be happier. We had nearly 100 people for our joint birthdays and the team at Southern Spit Roast were fantastic!! ( we got the set up and serve option which included crockery and cutlery) which we thought was very well priced. A fantastic selection of food which was tasty and plentiful.
Then afterwards they cleaned up with no hassle at all and out any leftovers in containers for us
Would totally recommend them for your next get together or party
