The gym itself was nice enough as were the staff – I put the account on freeze while overseas for a couple of months – I had to do it twice. They charged me the entire time – when i called about it when I came back the woman at the gym confirmed they could see the freeze request and assured me payments team would sort it. Payments team said they spoke to club manager and had no supporting documents (which are in their own app) so no refund.
Cancelled membership and won’t be back – I’m sorry I didn’t check trust pilot before I will keep reposting this review as a public service as it seems like it is their consistent practice.

I want to thank Gavin and the entire team for their incredible support in my fitness journey. At 54, I had never been to the gym before, relying mostly on yoga and meditation and thinking I was fit. But starting with your morning sessions has completely changed my outlook on fitness and the gym.

I joined the gym just over a month ago after seeing an ad for one of the challenges and was drawn to the target age group of 40+ plus the gym is close to home.
The gym itself has a welcoming and friendly vibe, with friendly coaches and clients who are there if you need help.
The app used to track my progress has been a game changer for me as it enables me to stick to a routine and I can look back on what I have done routine-wise and challenge myself as I get stronger. I have a long way to go but already feel a bit stronger and my balance is a lot better.
The regular coaching support from Gavyn who is patient, understanding, and professional, has been awesome. Gavyn is genuinely interested in helping me and I imagine all of his clients, achieve our goals – as I’m sure this is true of all of his team.
Other services such as nutritional support and other exercise options are available which is something to look forward to in the future.
I’m really happy I have joined and have encouraged my husband to join too!

Many instructors can feel intimidating or distant, but I’ve never felt that way with them. From day one, they made me feel welcome and part of the pride.

I joined The Pride with a main goal to loose weight, Samu and Mel said they can make that possible! After trying all these pills and dieting that all made no sense to me I started the 6 week challenge with no doubts. If you are on the fence about joining this gym… do it! This is the first gym I have joined where 1. I saw results I wanted to see quickly (through hard work and support), 2. I actually wanted to get out of bed to go constantly 3 times a week. 3. I Felt supported and pushed in equal measure. 4. Fitsquad has a range of classes for different fitness levels and each class has an incredible atmosphere. The team jokes around a lot and that’s how we all support and encourage each team member.
Raph is an amazing and genuine trainer that offers different classes everyday. I’ve never been bored! He takes the time to get to know us, our strengths and weaknesses. This way he knows how to talk to us and how to push us to the next level.

Raphael offers workouts tailored to all fitness levels and experience. Newbies are welcomed and encouraged to participate at their own pace and anyone with an injury will be offered an alternative exercise.
Workouts change daily and all equipment is provided. There is loads of variety and sessions are never boring.
Locations are all over Auckland with times to suit most and some locations offer wet weather options but rest assured Raphael never cancels due to adverse weather!
