The Wynyard Quarter studio was offering complimentary classes to those who worked in the area so that’s how I first came across them and have absolutely loved the classes I have attended so far. I had been meaning to try Pilates for a year or so. When a friend told me how much she loved Studio Pilates, Wynyard Quarter I finally got started with the 6 classes for $60 offer. So glad I did. All the instructors are super friendly and are there to ensure you get the most out of your workout. The sessions are 40 mins long and I have found they really target those female problem areas. An added bonus is that my blood pressure is the lowest it has been for years. A lovely place to go and do some exercise. Seriously addictive!

As someone who describes herself as a sporadic exerciser, Strong pilates is the one place I’ve been able to stick at!
I love that every class is slightly different, the facilties are great and the trainers are lovely.
Good bathroom facilities to get ready before work (there are two showers so there can be a little bit of a wait).

I love STRONG Pilates classes at Victoria park! Super convenient and lots of time slots to choose from. The 5:55 class is my favourite, it means I get to go before work, jump in the shower at the studio, where they offer towels, GHD hair dryers and straighteners… and be ready for the day, all before 7am ! The instructors are always highly motivating and encouraging, they always have the time to help you improve technique. I’m really happy I found the studio and would highly recommend!

I am a regular at Over 50’s reformer Pilates. The Unity instructors are all very well trained and skilled at communicating. The classes are well structured, with the instructor giving modifications to the exercises for any injuries a person may have. The BEST Physios! I had been going to unity studios during my pregnancy for the classes but I suffered severe skeletal and muscle issues in my postpartum. I saw Juliet and Jen for my injuries and Juliet in particular became pivotal to my recovery, not only helping me with my injury but also being my advocate and helping me navigate the medical system, of which I had never had to do before. Absolutely love Core Collective – easily my fav reformer studio in Auckland! The instructors are the most clear communicators I’ve come across – helping you to understand your body and make adjustments (sometimes so tiny but that make the world of difference). Not only has my form dramatically improved but gaining further strength and mobility has also been so encouraging. They have a fab range of classes and such a lovely atmosphere to do these within. I’ve been coming to classes here regularly for over a year and couldn’t recommend it more!

I’ve recently returned to Core Collective after about 4 years and I absolutely love it! My first class back (level 2) was one of the most challenging and enjoyable Pilates workouts that I’ve ever done. The instructor was amazing and the class (even though it was challenging) was great and I can’t wait to return. I’ve had a wonderful experience at Peak Pilates! As someone who was completely new to Pilates and struggles with anxiety, it took me a while to finally make the decision to try it out. But from the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and at ease.

My one-on-one sessions with Thanya have been amazing. She is incredibly calm, patient, and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable right from the start. She’s great at tailoring the sessions to focus on what I want to work on, while also pushing me to challenge myself. I never feel rushed or overwhelmed, but I can definitely feel myself improving each time.

I’m excited to continue my journey at Peak Pilates and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and friendly environment to practice in.

Chris Prentice is the most excellent physio, his expert level of knowledge , genuine care and guidance, has helped me gain confidence in my physical fitness abilities, seeing me take up running in my 50’s even half marathon training. I had to do an intro session before I could do classes. This cost $132, which in my opinion is quite costly. I totally get you have to access people to make sure they are fit and healthy before they can do group classes but still felt cost was high for the initial accessment.

I would highly recommend this beautiful reformer Pilates studio! I’ve done some classes here with four different instructors, and they are all amazing! It’s really hard to check postures and core involvement at home workout! So I decided to back to a fitness studio. So Fitness is what I am looking for! Every instructor here checked me out before the start and corrected my wrong postures during workout. They are very kind and professional. Also, a maximum of three attendees in one class make me feel safe under the Covid-19 situation. If you want to try pilate and look for a studio, go for So Fitness. It’s sure to surprise you.

Reformer Pilates with So Fitness is quickly becoming a new favourite! The instructors are so lovely and encouraging; they not only make you feel comfortable and welcome from the get-go, but are also really supportive and nudge you to do your best. 12/10 recommend the classes to anyone who wants to build a healthier lifestyle but feels nervous or unsure where to start. As a long standing client of StudiooThree, I couldn’t exist without my twice weekly Reformer Pilates classes. I particularly enjoy being challenged and pushed to work through the movements.
