The locksmith near my house is closed until 13 Jan, so I had to make a bit of an effort to drive to Henderson, and I'm so glad I did. The gent helping me not only has a magnificent beard, but was also very friendly and knowledgeable. He tested the existing key and confirmed that my car key didn't have a chip in it, and was able to quickly cut a just a blade key for me, which was what I wanted. My car was at home, because it has a flat battery, so I was there in a different car. I tested it when I got home and it fits the lock fine and turns fine. It fitted like a hand in a glove. I was given a strong key as replacement and couldn't be bothered about the logo or whatever was written on it. The aim is to have something sturdy, that works, and will for years to come. The place is very clean, with some lovely plants all over and comfy chairs. Not like a typical grimy key cut place. It was a pleasure to sit and wait the 5 or 10 minutes it took to cut the key and chat with the owner. I highly recommend LSL. Friendly, quick, efficient, affordable.

I took my Honda Fit in for a door lock issue, and I was blown away by the service. They sorted everything out and issued a brand new remote in just 5 minutes! Incredibly fast, professional, and hassle-free experience. Highly recommend them if you ever need a locksmith—these guys are awesome!

Please be careful before you book. I emailed them for a quote with pictures requesting replacement of front door lock and and cutting/opening of a storage locker as well as installing a replacement lock. I received a quote $173 inc gst for job + $9 per key. Trademan came on-site and was only able to do half the job. He was able to change the front door and rekey but was not interested in doing anything for the storage lock as he said the key lock had been glued. When I requested him what could be done he said the lock can be drilled but it would take time and he was not sure what needs to be done. He proceeded to change the front door lock, when i asked him about billings and cost said the sooner i do it the better the cost, after doing it (5 minutes later) he advised billings of $150. When questioned, he did not seem interested so I called the manager Brett re quote and advised the billings were unfair and unprofessional given only half the job was done and the tradesman did not even attempt to open the storage locker. Brett asked me to put his trademan on the phone, next thing I knew, his tradesman Brendon took the keys of the new lock and walked away from my home, I called out to him so we could have a chat a figure out things but he just left and continued walking. I called Bret, I explained to him that this is very unprofessional as he has left me with a new lock with no keys but he did not want to reach any settlement about the issue and advised I hire someone else. I realised my key from my old lock which I had placed on my table was missing, my suspicion is that Brendon sneaked this away with him while I was talking to Brett. Brendon had already taken my old lock to his van saying he needed it to get the new lock. He just walked away without returning my old lock or key and leaving me with a new lock with no keys. The situation for me is that I have a new lock no keys, the key is with Brendon a stranger to me who can access my home anytime he wants. I have reported this activity to the Police as I felt unsafe in my own home. They advised that I change my locks as quickly as possible, were empathetic and also advised I seek help from Consumers Affairs. Unfortunately without much evidence of Brendon taking my lock , it would his word against mine. Luckily I was able to find a locksmith at short notice given it is just before Easter weekend and feel safe. I am sharing this as it is a very unpleasant and unexpected experience, it cost me in additional billings for another locksmith and also my time and peace of mind for the day. I had done my due diligence and had 2 other quotes as well but choose this company as they were available sooner than others. Please think twice before booking a job if you don't want to be a tough situation like me especially as you may be providing access to your homes. Hope this review helps other unsuspecting people.

I had to replace my holden key and found it very difficult to find someone who could help. This guy was recommended to me and he was great. Apart from the price being half what the other couple of places I made contact with were going to charge, he was able to help me straight away. Very friendly, extremely helpful, I thoroughly recommend him to anyone who needs a key cut, no matter how difficult.

Brett at Locksmiths Services Ltd was amazing, I had an old door handle with a broken part and a missing machine screw that he sorted in the best fashion - on the spot with friendly banter while he worked. I also had a house key cut at a great cost, on the spot again. I’m so glad that I found this place, old fashioned honest good work.
