I booked an ear cleaning after my ears become blocked on holiday. After meeting with Melody (I hope that is the correct name) from the Bayfair branch, she did a quick check over my ears and referred me on to some more local ear nurses due to me needing more specialised care.
As they were not able to assist me, I was sent on my way with a smile and no fee charged, which was pleasantly surprising. In the 20 minutes I spent there I felt very well looked after, and could see that other clients definitely did, too!

Nurse Iris was incredible, he has excellent bedside manner which made having an embarrassingly large amount of earwax extracted seem more like a catch-up with an old friend (obviously with vacuum sounds added in!). Do not be put off by the fact that Iris is working towards getting his registration in NZ because a) he is registered as a nurse in Samoa and b) after hearing his story of how he got into medicine I 1000% would trust him with my life! My appointment ended up going 10 minutes over (not sure if it’s because of my embarrassingly large amount of earwax or all of the questions I had immediately after), but Iris was incredibly informative, graceful, and friendly. It feels strange to say but I’m looking forward to my next visit in nine months time??
