Go 1 Day Painting

We had an excellent experience with Go 1 Day Painting. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Devin provided a quick and reasonable quote and made sure everything ran smoothly. Ali did an outstanding job with the staining. The deck looks great, and on top of that, he was incredibly nice and easy to work with, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for quality work and a stress-free process.

We chose these guys because of the google reviews and people saying they made it right when things weren’t good. Our experience has been pretty bad. Devlin comes out and looks it over, spends a bit of time doing the sales pitch. All sounds good. A subcontractor Robbie comes to do the job, inspects it and says the roof is in good condition. Need to replace something at the top but otherwise it’s fine. So far so good. Then he paints it on literally the hottest days of the year. No harnesses or scaffolding. It’s all patchy. He’s not happy with it and talks the boss. They agree to do another coat. It still looks bad, so he does it again, and again. It was stinking hot days. Hose on his sprayer breaks and sprays paint all over a wall. They painted it, but we still had some patches around other surfaces. He falls off the roof and lands on a wooden bench on his back. Insisted he was fine. The paint started bubbling up as shown in the pictures. Devlin comes out and blames it on a bad paint job from the previous guy, over and over and over. So why wasn’t that picked up in the initial inspection when it was claimed to be good? Seems like poor preparation and pre-work inspection or painting in the wrong weather to us. Didn’t even clean the mistake off the gutter. He says we need to replace our roof because the bubbles will crack and pool water against the roof, rusting it out. Offers a full deposit refund. Would not recommend. Terrible terrible experience. We’re worse off than when we started, by far..

We are a school and we have used Go 1 Day Painting for several interior painting jobs, from our hall to classrooms. We have always had excellent service - from the intial quotes to the finished jobs. Experienced painters, hard working, very professional, great communication, and the painting jobs are very well done. I’d give 10 stars if I could! Devin and Ryan were excellent to work with and the job is so well done. My family and I purchased a new home (while living abroad so we hadn’t really seen the house until we settled). The walls and trim were an absolute mess. Devin, Ryan and the team sanded, patched and painted the entire interior (ceilings, walls, trim and all the doors) in less than one week. They were so responsive and took a big stressor off our family as we have been moving. I will absolutely work with this team in the future. Thank you!

From scaff going up to project completion the entire project went smoothly and in the timeframe set out with Devin’s expertise. Appreciate all especially during the holiday season, our 1980’s original (green) looks amazing now.
