A great place to come and view a variety of antiques and arts. The fees were not cheap almost 20% on top of the winning price but it was well explained to you before you bid. A good place to look around

Cordys is such a special place, friendly helpful staff, a great selection of items, artifacts, art, pottery, gems, jewelry, furniture, and everything in-between. I’ve been buying things off Cordys for many years, Andrew is great. I look forward to there excellent website and online bidding platform every week.

My most favourite place ( every nook and cranny has a surprise and thrill of discovery)and past time, especially the people that work there! Walk inside to friendly, welcoming staff who are always happy to chat. From the brilliant admin staff to floor personnel – Dianne, Kal and Jay !! Im always dropping (drooling?)in after work to view which is just such a pleasure. Cheers Cordys so uplifting.
David Andrea (☆ 5/5)

I have bought several items from Cordys at auction over the past year and always found that the online bidding process has been efficient, easy to understand, and rewarding. One’s heart rate goes up a few notches with the excitement in the final minutes, too.
The collection arrangements, using prior notification to Cordys to make a suitable time, have proved very satisfactory as well, and I have always been attended to promptly and politely.
Merry Xmas Cordys, I will keep my eye on upcoming auctions into the New Year.

Hi Thanks for this opportunity as my wife and I received wonderful service when picking up two glass battery vessels a few weeks ago. The young lady who we met greeted us warmly despite not having a pick up appointment. When I told her what is was we were collecting an item that i had purchased without my wife knowing and I wanted to surprise her ,she joined in the fun. We asked my wife to stand over by the window and not look and when the lady bought the items down which she arranged them nicely on a convenient table. We got my wife to come over and we revealed the items to her – thankfully my wife loved them and thanks to your wonderful staff member who joined in with the plan! She also translated for us a French wine drinking poster which i had admired in the auction which just added to the experience. Thank you to her and thanks to you for giving me the opportunity to express our thanks – Paul and Bridget

I really don’t know why I’m posting this because it may create more bidding competition! But it needs to be said – Cordys the best Auction House in Auckland. Totally professional and really good people.

Love buying from Cordy’s. Absolutely hassle free and amazing service. Have become a bit of a regular now since discovering them last year.

Customer Reviews
I am very disappointed with the warranty service. I purchased a high-quality bed for around $1,800, and within 10 days, the bed broke, particularly the headboard. I also noticed that the joints were coming apart everywhere.
I submitted a complaint through their online portal, which has been frustrating and ineffective. I uploaded over 20 photos, but they claimed they were unsatisfied with the images because of issues with zooming in and out. Eventually, I decided to make videos of the damage and sent them to the email address listed on the invoice and their website. The portal is also linked to the same email address, but now they claim they cannot access my videos.
After numerous follow-up calls for 1 month, they asked me to send the headboard to their shop at my own expense and to wait at least 5-7 working days for an inspection. They have not clarified whether they will return the bed to me afterwards. As a customer who invested $1,800 in this product, I am shocked and stressed over this experience. I have attached some pictures for reference so others can see the issues and share their opinions on the situation.

I recently shopped at iFurniture NZ and had a mostly positive experience. The store offers a wide range of affordable furniture options, especially great for people looking to furnish their homes on a budget. Their styles are modern, with plenty of choices for living room, bedroom, and office furniture.
Hansika Ratnayake (☆ 5/5)

I’ve purchased multiple furniture items from iFurniture and have been really impressed with the quality—especially for the price. The lounge couch is super comfortable, and the dining chairs and bar stools are sturdy and well-made. Assembly is required for some items, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Pick-up from their warehouse is quick and hassle-free, and everything comes with a 1-year warranty, which gives extra peace of mind. Overall, the service has been great and I’ll definitely keep coming back.
Joel Dunn (☆ 5/5)

This furniture store offers affordable prices and excellent quality. The materials feel sturdy and well-made. The customer service, especially YoYo, was very patient in helping us check inventory and explaining everything in detail. They also offer free delivery for purchases over a certain amount, which is a great bonus. Highly recommended!

This place is so cool!!! Ray, the owner, is such a nice man. You could honestly spend hours in there and still not see everything that they have. Love this place so much
Julian Hellmich (☆ 5/5)

I have to acknowledge this shop and the people working there. It’s always got beautiful must have items for your home and decor, with the most kindest and helpful staff. Highly recommend you stop by, once you do you’ll always come back to see what’s new as we do. Love it!
Neil Paul (☆ 5/5)

What a gem of a store! You’d find everything in here from your childhood memories to your future collections.
Danny Wong (☆ 5/5)

I’ve been always eyeing this place and had never the chance to visit . Today we did and it was wonderful. So unique… unlike other antique shops we’ve been to. There was something to this shop that made it actually feel as though we entered into the past when we were sifting thru the countless displays. The prices are obviously high but I would think that these products are justly priced for their good condition and authenticity. Ray has a warm and welcoming personality too. At one point I actually mistook him for one of the many statues displayed in the shop☺. I will visit again and encourage others too.
Nilanke Perera (☆ 5/5)

What an interesting place! It is filled to the brim with interesting antiques, curios, and knickknacks.
They have opened another store across the road which has better/more parking and which is also filled with awesome tidbits.
Most of the items are quite expensive. The rows are very narrow, which makes it difficult to move, especially if there are other people. To me it became a bit claustrophobic and overwhelming, and I couldn’t fully appreciate everything.
It’s still absolutely worth the effort to see some great things
Joanie Badenhorst-Awasthi (☆ 4/5)

A place where time lingers and every object holds a story. Wandering through is like breathing in a slower rhythm—crafted wood, worn edges, and the quiet magic of things made to last.
It’s a reminder that beauty doesn’t come in plastic wrap, and history isn’t something to scroll past. A nourishing stop for curious souls.

What a fun and ecletic place. The staff were amazing. Very kind and helpful. I was delighted to find a particular cookbook i had been searching for online and in Chch. After 3 days op shopping with my bestie in Akl and 23 op shops later, we visited J&D on the way to airport not really expecting to make purchases and there it was!!!!! So happy. My friend found some wee treasures too. She regrets the massive framed John Wayne poster would fit in her hand luggage! Highly recommend even if for an interesting peruse.
Leanne Russ (☆ 5/5)

Can’t fault this place. Just amazing. Quirky, fun and so many unique pieces. It’s like walking through a museum!

Literally just a big collection of junk. Some of it is pretty neat, but overpriced iirc. If you like that sort of thing. I think they should turn it into a waterpark or something though.

Customer Reviews
Central Filling Market feels like a well-curated flea market with a great atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can spend a good hour or two browsing through a mix of antiques, vintage items, and second-hand goods.
The antiques are often overpriced—especially the tools, which can be surprisingly expensive. But the second-hand section makes up for it, and with a bit of digging, you might find something you really like.
What really stands out is the vibe. It’s lively, full of character, and brings together both the younger and older generations, each with their own fashion and style. The food stalls, coffee options, and overall energy give it a unique charm that’s hard to find elsewhere in Auckland. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy flea markets and local creative scenes.
Orhan Ranjbari (☆ 5/5)

A fun market with alot of things to look at from food, clothes, or just random objects. Came here grabbed some food from a stall and the kinship coffee shop which were great. There was also a nice jazz band that was playing when I came. Highly recommend!
Jules (☆ 5/5)

This is great way to spend a Sunday morning in Auckland. Lots of stalls with good variety -vlothing, vintage home wear, plants, jewellery and food
Sofie Jensen (☆ 5/5)

Love the owners vision .
Great couple that invite just the right kind of vendors to keep it interesting.
No $2.00 rubbish plastic stands to find here.
Uwe Kluge (☆ 5/5)

Some great finds here! The casual sellers are also very receptive to selling for cheaper than priced as they just want to get rid of stuff
Shereen P (☆ 5/5)

A rather cute market that we visited whilst in auckland. Parking was very full so you may have to go around the block a couple of times. Stall holders were friendly. Most of the items were clothes (very cool clothes but small as they were vintage). There was some jewellery and miscellaneous as well. The content of the stalls would depend on the day. The market is situated around a second hand shop called junk and disorderly. It was huge and had some cool items you wouldn’t normally see. Toilets are located in junk and disorderly (would be cool to have some more signage about this). We did find it difficult walking around some of the stalls that were located on the gravel due to the uneven ground so keep that in mind if you are mobility compromised. On the whole a cute market.
Kate van Ingen (☆ 3/5)

Easily the best clothing market in Auckland, I thrift all my clothes and can tell you in confidence you’ll find the best, most affordable and unique stuff here. The stallholders are everyday people and always friendly. The market has grown heaps so its really impossible for you not to find something you’ll like! Clothing, home goods, bric a brac galore

I received my Rachel in Red Chinoiseries Jacket today. It was beautifully packaged by Stephanie with a lovely hand written note and a card with a Whittakers chocolate treat. That was delicious and a lovely surprise. I am so thrilled and happy to own this jacket. It has intricate embroidered butterflys and an inner lining.
I cant take my eyes off it as it is so pretty.
I have had a wonderful customer experience with Stephanie from initial purchase to receving email updates and confirmation of nz post tracking.

I’m completely transformed on my selection of fashion, due to the experience and help from Stephanie at PB. I’ve collected some great pieces. All exquisite. A unique collection.
Stephanie (☆ 5/5)

I buy almost all my clothes and accessories from Steph at Painted Bird. I get so many compliments and questions, “where did you get that!?” When I have an important function coming up I go to Painted Bird and get Steph to help me, as recently when I needed a LBD and knew I’d never find exactly what I wanted anywhere else. Her clothes suit me perfectly. I can’t recommend PB highly enough.

Staff member in empty stop listening to videos on her phone (sound way up) while sitting on chairs, not interested in my presence at all. I came wanting dining, bar and living chairs. Will look elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Have experienced similar previous years when tried visiting.
Sara Jayne Pietersen (☆ 1/5)

A great variety of interior and exterior decor items that are well priced. Particularly at the moment as the shopping precinct it is in is due for redevelopment and the business is running a closing down sale. It appears that every thing in the store has a price reduction, so if you are looking for a special item for your property, a trip to Koko Classics would be well worthvwhile.cThe store is easily accessible from Great South Road with some good parking.

This is one of those “must go” shops for home decor ideas. If you are looking for a quality difference here it is. I purchased a handmade fire pit, it is unique, stunning, priced well with care instructions. They have a huge range from small quirky practical items to chairs and tables, one off mirrors, throws, lights, too much to list. Check out their website! I recommend!
nicholas griffin (☆ 5/5)

What a fabulous selection of stylish leather furniture and rugs and wooden indoor and outdoor items. I loved the antique and Asian influenced gates, the large wooden candle sticks and the cow hide rugs. And I have never seen such amazing firepits. Prices were reasonable in comparison to the quality of the stock. And a big selection. The staff were friendly but equally gave space to just look around. This was my first visit but I’ll definitely be back

We bought a bed base around a month ago and encountered an issue that required returning it. The after-sales service team was brilliant, especially Peter, whom I had read about in many previous reviews. I can now see why, he is truly an indispensable asset to the company. Peter was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the process, and showed genuine kindness. He didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile, and his assistance made the whole experience much easier. Thank you!
Edwin Gunawan (☆ 5/5)

I bought a lift up bed base 6 months ago, the function is great but the thing upset me was the smell … was very strong at first, and still can smell something after half year. I contacted customer service, and Peter came visited for three times, showed me his kindness and understanding, and help me return it back and get the credit. Very appreciated for his outstanding service . I would say Targetfurniture is a reliable shop and Peter is a super star in the team. I would recommend the shop and be your customer again.Thank you.

I’ve an excellent service from the team at target furniture outlet. Peter K, I’m amazed with your dedication to work. You answer to my email and queries at 7pm…. making sure that i got a good deal and followed through the order on the day that you are off work. And you ladies at the front desk and man that carry the cupboard for me to my car… you people are fantastic and well deserved 5+ stars.
lee kinmun (☆ 5/5)

We bought our bed from target in 2021 and recently the partition in the middle was broken. We contact customer service and they have sent their technician Peter to identify the damage. Peter was very helpful, friendly and brilliant man who fixed our bed as brand new. I would say target is very jammy to have such a hardworking and kind staff like Peter. He definitely deserves a good raise. Thank you so much Peter for your service and your excellent work.
Cute Chinku (☆ 5/5)

Decided to visit this place as we needed to get a new couch. We had bought out dining table and chairs off here a couple years ago and it’s amazing quality. We walked in and got the coldest looks. Not at all welcoming not even a Hi or good morning. Saw a total of 4 staff not acknowledged by one ! The girls at the reception just yapping away. Why would I want to spend more money here when people working here act this way.

Ordered a lift up bed and couldn’t figure out how to get the gas cylinders to work! Swift and easy contact to get someone out to look at them. Couldn’t have done it without Peter K! He was super communicative and made the process a breeze.
Peter, you are amazing, thank you so much for all your help!

Super cute antique store :3
They actually have a second floor as well, but i prefer the first floor. The store is a bit cramped and kinda hard to navigate so don’t bring a huge bag or anything. The prices are reasonable and there’s a huge variety of trinkets and cutlery etc. Definitely recommend coming!!

The shop is old. I have to say I love this shop, even its smell. However, as a regular, I am very disappointed about today’s shopping experience. I bought many things in the shop, such as cups, plates and cutlery, worth thousands of dollars. I have told the male owner that I am regular many times but do not have a suitable and friendly treat. The male owner does not give me a smile and is trying to be tough on me while shopping. The male shopkeeper’s attitude and face are like telling me that I have offered you opportunities to allow you entry to my store; you should be thankful. I cannot believe this. Besides, the female shopkeepers are pretty nice and friendly. You must choose the right time and suitable reception if anyone plans to buy something.
What interesting feedback and vocabulary use. I cannot believe that you can twist the fact. 1. I entered the store and hope you can open the cabinets because I want to look at the cutlery directly. The point is, I hope you do this, not ask you to do this. I did not ask you to do anything. Do not play the vocabulary game. 2. I hope you can open the cabinets so I can directly look at the cutlery; it is like I came the store previously. However, when you refuse, I follow your rules and stand there to look and follow your instrctions. 3. When I came to the store, the other shopkeepers usually opened the cabinets and allowed me to look directly at these stuff, so the cabinets were not like you said: “You do not open”. 4. Your tune is so sarcastic. It is like you are unhappy because you do not have enough money or you did not get a discount. I have to say; when I bought things first in the shop, I did not ask for any discount. The first discount is the old shopkeeper gave me. I appreciate it till now. However, it does not matter if you think this is money anger; I hope you keep this bias because this kind of bias will “help” you in your business in the future. I do not want to help you alter it. 5. I am very curious about why you do not talk about how strict and tough you were to me. Why did you not give me a polite smile when I was shopping in your store? Or, you only want to talk about something that can benefit you! What an interesting and pathic! Finally, you do not need to warried about a poor guy like me and his friends to shop in your store. I will not shop any more in your store. So, there is no need to reply to me. Enjoy your bias, tough guy.

This shop has lasted for ages. The male owner is pretty cold to some people like me, even though we bought things. We wanted to look at the furniture next door, he opened the door and didn’t say a word for the entire time and tried to rush us out. The female owner is always very friendly and nice to everyone. A total mixed of experience

I’ve been visiting here since it opened in 1971. A mazelike interior with more stuff in a small space than you’d ever expect to encounter. Fun. Unforgettable interior.

Beautiful place. unfortunate that the staff are incredibly rude and unapproachable. Very dismissive and aggressive. When we were asking questions he started getting frustrated for no clear reason and it was very uncomfortable. Wouldn’t visit again because of this very disappointed since it is a gorgeous place.
