Four Words | Custom Engagement Rings

We had an absolutely wonderful experience designing my engagement ring at Four Words. Right from the beginning, customer service was incredible and the process moved at a good pace. My craftsmanship is top quality and I couldn’t have been more happy with it. We will definitely be back for our wedding bands. Would love to see my ring posted on Four Words socials.

This is going to be long, but I have so many amazing things to say, if you’re looking for quality jewelers, these are the people. Working with Four Words on our Engagement Rings has been nothing short of a dream, from the moment we stepped into the office to the moment we got to see and wear our rings for the first time. We flew up from Wellington to see the team in Auckland for our initial consult back in September 2024. And in just 45 minutes, we knew these would be the people that would help us bring our dream rings to life. Hamish was just amazing and so helpful during our consult, helping us understand what we wanted and starting the process of breathing life into these designs. The entire process of working with Four Words was explained so clearly and we knew exactly what to expect every step of the way. No surprises or unexpected fees or steps. We walked in thinking we knew what we wanted for the designs and structure or our rings, but we were blown away by Hamish’s knowledge, and the deigns that were brought out and displayed to us. Helping to cement what it really was we wanted. Further adding to this amazing experience, Hamish was kind enough to add in some details to our rings free of charge, we are so beyond grateful for the hospitality and kindness shown to us during our time in the office. We were told we’d have unlimited reviews of sketches of our ring designs, however we only needed one. The design team took our briefing and in the initial concept sketches, pretty much hit it right on the mark, the sketches were just stunning; Four Words has a very talented team of designers. Our revision was scheduled for ten minutes but we barely needed that, we were so utterly in love with the initial concept rings, but just needed to make one or two small changes. The designer we spoke to during our revision - Mohammed - was amazing. We only spoke for a short time as we barely needed anything changed from our initial concept designs, but he was very attentive in listening to what changes we’d suggested. When we got the updated sketches, it was love at first sight. The design team took our feedback and suggested changes and brought them to life better than we could have ever imagined they are just perfect! Everything that we could have hoped for and so much more, so of course these were the designs we went with! And when the renders came we were blown away, the intricacy and beauty of the ring cannot be accurately described, no words could do it justice. When the day finally came and I saw my ring for the first time I was beyond astounded, I cannot accurately describe just how much I love this ring and how prefect it is! I’m so thrilled with the end result. A massive, massive thank you to the team at Four Words, for bringing our dream rings to life.

I designed my customer ring with Four Words and it was an amazing process. I originally was going to go some place else, but they were unable to source a specific cut of diamond I was after (old mine cut). However, Four Words could. Everyone I dealt with was great. The designing process was seamless. The end product was exactly what I had dreamed of! I highly recommend Four Words!

My now fiancé and I had an amazing experience with Four Words and would highly recommend this brand to absolutely anyone!! It was incredible and so special to be part of the design process of the ring with my partner but still able to keep things like cost and delivery a secret meaning the proposal was still a big surprise! I can’t speak on behalf of him, but my experience with Four Words was truly amazing. I mostly dealt with Hamish in our one on one sessions where he had so much patience and provided loads of reassurance each time I’d make minor adjustments to the designs! We had plenty of laughs and overall it was great having Hamish take care of us! All the staff we met along the way were so lovely and you’d be lucky to deal with any of them! My Fiancé and I are currently abroad (where the proposal happened) and were still able to keep in touch while away. The ring in person exceeded my expectations and is so beautiful!! After some time wearing it, I did have some minor concerns about the colour of one of my stones, but they have provided plenty of solutions and we will retouch base once we return from our travels! I honestly couldn’t recommend Four Words enough and we will definitely be coming back for wedding bands in future! Their communication is top notch and everything about them is something positive! My partner designed my engagement ring from with Four Words, and we also chose our wedding rings from them, and we couldn’t be happier. The fact they are custom designs and unique to us is perfect. The quality is amazing, and you can really tell how much love and care goes into the craftsmanship. On top of that, the team was genuinely lovely to deal with, super helpful, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend Four Words if you’re looking for a bespoke, custom ring! I explored a few other jewellers, but one didn’t follow up after the initial contact, and another wasn’t quite able to bring the specific custom concept I had in mind to life. With Four Words, the experience was completely different. They did a fantastic job from the very first meeting—asking the right questions and giving us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. Tashjian and Ella were incredible to work with. They were responsive to every design change I requested and offered valuable advice and insights when needed. I especially appreciated their patience and professionalism throughout the process, even with my many tweaks and questions. Truly helpful team and excellent customer service from start to finish!
