Our son has been learning the drums with Steve for the last 4 years and absolutely loves it. Steve ensures the lessons are fun but challenging and sets clear instructions on what to work on between lessons. Our sons progress has been amazing (even the neighbours are enjoying his drumming and often comment on how good he's becoming!). Steve is a fantastic teacher and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to ignite their drum ambition.

Harry, my grandson has been having drumming lessons with Steve since he was 5, so almost 4 yrs. Steve is a top class musician and teacher. Harry enjoys his lessons and is doing well. I would highly recommend Steve. It is wonderful that his students have the opportunity to learn from such a great artist. Steve's patience, dedication, friendliness and encouragement with students is excellent.

Steve, a wonderful drummer himself, is a great teacher who encourages and motivates his students. My 12 year old daughter has been taking lessons for over a year now and loves her weekly lessons with Steve. Highly recommended.

Been doing lessons with Steve for a few years now, and it has been great! He is an amazing drummer as just as good at teaching. I have had a huge improvement since beginning with him, as he manages to push you to play new and challenging things, while keeping it fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with him!

Steve has an excellent set up at the studio and a great approach to teaching. I have been taking lessons at The Beat School for around 15 months now, whether you want to get better as an all round drummer, learn to read music or focus on jazz, rock, latin etc Steve can help you out. Good bloke too! Highly recommend.
