We had the most amazing experience with Darren and Jane for a surprise 30th birthday.
They are so very welcoming & made everyone feel at home. Their knowledge of the land and history is incredible.
We loved how flexible they were and how they were willing to go out of their way to help us, taxi us around outside of our tour and to make our stay stress free!
I would highly recommend these wonderful people and will totally book again!

Our experience was phenomenal! Jane made a wine tour happen for us with less than 24hrs notice and she guided us through the island and the culture beautifully. We had the option to choose a larger tour company, and we're so glad we chose Big Aroha. Jane and Darren are guides, artists, makers...and now friends. We can't recommend them enough!

We were lucky enough to have Jane as our taxi driver three times in one day—and every single ride was a pleasure! Communication with her was so smooth and easy, and she was always right on time, which made our day run perfectly. On top of that, Jane is such a kind and lovely person to talk to. This is the best wine tour I've been on.
Jane picked us up and took us to 3 fantastic vineyards and a restaurant. Relaxed Island and wine tour.

Jane / Big Aroha found us stuck on the side of a dark Waiheke road after our booked taxi never arrived….it was 2am!
She didn’t have to, as she was on her way home, but she picked us up and drove us to our respective locations all for about half the price of our previous cab. Needless to say, we made sure the trip was worthwhile for Jane and she’s continued to be our preferred taxi service on the island this day! She’s just fantastic!
