Island Magic

Glenn is a fantastic tour guide. He recommended a lovely restaurant (372) where we had an amazing meal. And then showed us a couple of wineries before making sure we got back to the ferry in time. He’s extremely knowledgeable and shares an enthusiasm for the island. Will recommend him to my friends.

Went for my Dad's 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. Would recommend to everyone and really wanting to come back for another time. Glenn was such a wonderful guide, full of knowledge and new the staff by name and pointed out little facts about the island that no one but a local would know about. Even took us to a beautiful little cafe before our tour for breakfast which was amazing and a had wonderful talk with the owner. Really gives an experience that you couldn't anywhere else. 10/10 recommend, you won't regret it.

Glen is fun, gets some jokes going and keeps you on your toes. His commentary is light and he adapts to peoples humour. We enjoyed his tour and all the trips he took is on over two separate weekends on the island. If you want a high level of service and some fun call Glenn. All his advice was good on restaurants and places to go and he made our island visits MORE exciting - even though he teased us about being vegan and drinking celery juice!

Glenn is a fantastic friend and guide to have on the island. His passion and love of Waiheke shines. He has a deep knowledge of the island, it’s history and what’s worth your time. He went above and beyond to help us and looked after us well, from making a dinner recommendation to then making the booking for us and ensuring we had the best seats in the house at The Oyster Inn and Mudbrick with a lot of fun and laughs each time we met. Would absolutely recommend Glenn on your next visit and we look forward to seeing you again mate.

Glenn is fantastic, he had amazing energy and enthusiasm during the tour and a great sense of humour. He tailored our tour to exactly what we wanted while adding a few stops along the way. He's extremely knowledgeable of the island, we couldn't have asked for anyone better to take us around for the day. Highly recommended!

Our group of four found this magic wine tour with Glen to be a fantastic way to enjoy all of the beautiful scenery on Waiheke island. His ongoing commentary about the local history, wineries, people, their language and how Waiheke is continuing to develop over the years as a top tourist destination was excellent. His witty repartee kept us all smiling throughout our whole weekend. He also provided us great recommendations for eateries and he became our perfect chauffeur for the weekend making it very easy for us to get about and always arriving and getting us to our destinations in time. We will definitely be calling on this tour for future visits and recommend you take this one if you don’t want to be herded around like sheep. A massive big shout out to Glen.

We have done two tours with Glenn and found him to be excellent. Glenn is knowledgeable of the Island & knows the best vineyards to visit. He also has a great sense of humour! We will definitely do another tour with Glenn next summer.
