Customer Reviews
I had a wonderful experience with Super Shuttle on a drive to the airport yesterday. The driver arrived right on time and helped carry my nine checked bags with lots of enthusiasm. He was extremely professional, polite and patient. The ride was very smooth and he again helped with the bags after we parked by the terminal. I’m extremely impressed with how seamless and easy the whole experience was! I wholeheartedly recommend Super Shuttle if you’re traveling to the airport, they truly went above and beyond for me.
Anne-Marie (☆ 5/5)

First time using this service and it was excellent! The shuttles were easy to find at AKL airport and left within a few minutes; our driver was exceptional on the way to our BnB : explaining places and sites .
Our return pick up came on time and we were at the airport with loads of time left for our flight .
Highly recommend to anyone traveling for the first time to New Zealand . Safe, Cheap and provided great service

Sulita Turaganiwai (☆ 5/5)

We booked super shuttle on a recent weekend away in Queenstown. Such a convenient and stressfree experience at an affordable price. Our driver was friendly and helpful and the booking was easy to make.
Definitely recommend this service and I would absolutely book them again.
Tee Roberts (☆ 5/5)

This is a really great service. We had to change the time of our pick up for our return trip and it was absolutely no trouble for them at all. Both drivers were very pleasant and our trips were comfortable and affordable.
Lynda Wightman (☆ 5/5)

Excellent service, easy to book! Shuttle arrived on time, clean, comfortable and driver was friendly and professional! A stress-free way to get to the airport and highly recommended!
Laura Rahui (☆ 5/5)

We’ve used this service many times going to and from the airport. It takes a long time but it’s cheaper than a taxi. We tried to book a lift to the airport but we had to go early as we needed to sort out some extra luggage. The team on the phone said that because our flight was later in the morning they couldn’t take us on the earlier shuttle. We expressed repeatedly that we needed to go very early but they were completely unwilling to accommodate as our flight was booked later that day. Very frustrating. Ended up booking a taxi service instead. Julie was lovely on the phone but didn’t seem to communicate our needs to the internal team. We were able to book an earlier shuttle on their website but were told it was subject to change and not reliable so decided to use another service.
Rochelle M (☆ 2/5)

My husband and I find this service very pleasant and reliable. The driver is amicable and friendly. Aucklanders are really lucky to have the Super Shuttle to provide such efficient service.

The Victoria Street Car Park offers a fantastic solution for those seeking convenient parking in the city. With a variety of spaces available, it caters well to visitors, especially on weekends when rates are quite appealing. The automated payment system enhances the overall experience, providing a hassle-free way to park.
While navigating the car park can be a bit tricky due to its narrow ramps and tight corners, the central location makes it an excellent choice. The close proximity to key attractions adds to its value, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike who need reliable and affordable parking.

Customer Reviews
Conveniently located with good amount of public parking spaces. Greatly priced, especially on weekends. Ramps are quite narrow so can be challenging to drive around the space, not to mention that every now and then, some drivers will ignore the no entry signs so might be head-to-head with them. The ticketless system works well for us.
Alex Tjahjana (☆ 5/5)

Great location for central Auckland and really good value – I paid $4 per hour, daytime drive in. Only really suitable for cars (salon) as the corners are tight and the ramps narrow; take it easy! The spaces vary in size but usually lot of room on the higher levels. All the low levels are reserved parking so go up (once you go down, there’s no return!). You’ll see a lot of the pillars are scraped; don’t be one of them! There’s only one lift and it can be slow, so patience is required. But don’t be put off: this is bargain parking in the central city, and close to the Art Gallery, theatres and town hall, and Mezze Bar (best place to eat and drink).
Alan Walmsley (☆ 4/5)

I pretty much use this place on weekends and pay weekend rates (of $2p/h capped at $10) if I’m spending longer than 2hrs in town. I stress less about finding a park when there’s usually parking spots available each time I visit.
Sin-Mae Chung (☆ 4/5)

Easy access to the parking lot, no need for tickets just go through and they scan the plate number, then pay entering the plate number at the machines. They have day and night rates.
The only thing that was really odd was that they have a “nightly rate” but you can’t access your car at all times, because they lock-up the parking lot. We had an international flight, went there at 4:00 am and had to call a number and pay $40 NZD in cash for someone to open the gate, ridiculous.
Diana Nelson (☆ 3/5)

Spaces are really small. Larger vehicles make some spaces useless, they park over the lines.
Drove up to the top floors to park to make parking easier.
David Williams (☆ 3/5)

Good price for a central city parking. The parking is quite tight and hard to maneuver around.
David Koh (☆ 4/5)

Good car park and very handy, but some slots for parking are very narrow. Many events happen in city
I always park here.

Such an incredible experience! I’ve never felt more fulfilled leaving a place. The small New Zealand Kiwi experience was perfect. Our tour guide (Fraser) was such a lovely person and gave great tips and recommendations for everywhere. The whole trip was so much fun and I’m now so sad to leave!
carey neale (☆ 5/5)

Just completed an 11 day tour of the north island (North Island Revive) as a small group. I can honestly say it was some of the best times of my life. Tina our guide was absolutely incredible and did an amazing job. I met some amazing people who I’m sure will be lifetime friends and went to some outstanding places. I cannot recommend kiwi experience more from my personal experience. Thank you so much for everything. I will absolutely return and do a trip on the south Island in the future.
Absolutely perfect for solo travellers like myself and to meet other like minded people and do fun activities.
Henry Mansbridge (☆ 5/5)

I’m a bit late posting this review as I did the GOAT tour December to January but it is the best trip I have ever been on. I decided to do this tour as I wanted to travel through New Zealand without all the stress of planning. As some of the others have mentioned we all had a great experience and made lasting memories together. A big thank you to our driver Lightning, as I couldn’t have asked for a better driver, guide, and friend. He was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about New Zealand, and he always had new games and riddles for us to keep us entertained (I just wish we had more time to play werewolf). I did a lot of the optional activities too which were great, with my personal favourites being the trip to Hobbiton and the swim with the dusky dolphins. The entire journey had good vibes, including the emotional yet inevitable ending, and I cannot recommend this trip enough. Thank you again for such an amazing experience!
Matthew (☆ 5/5)

What an incredible trip I’ve just had with Kiwi Experience. The driver. Dillon was amazing. With stories. Information. History, etc. He was just perfect. The Kiwi bus stops at all the best places, and you also get to benefit from seeing those little gems to break up longer journeys. They will organise trips and accommodation, if you want them too, or you can do what you want when you want. It offers flexibility that you can stay in one place longer than others knowing another kiwi bus will be there the next day. Although these buses are fantastic for younger travellers (18 – 29), I am in my 50s and found the whole experience fantastic. Thank you Kiwi experience for a holiday of a lifetime.
Suzanne Hooper (☆ 5/5)

Valentina Tosi (☆ 5/5)

24 days GOAT tour Dec – Jan 2025. It was an EPIC adventure of a lifetime. We got to see and experience the wonder of NZ in the North Island and South Island, as well as an immersive Māori cultural experience, a feast in the river valley, interact with the farm animals, and wine/gin tasting. Lightning, our driver guide, is exceptional! He is social, helpful, energetic, and full of humor. He went above and beyond his responsibilities to ensure everyone had a great time. Our group started in Auckland as 15 strangers, but ended in Christchurch as a family. We spent Christmas and New Year day together. Bonfire on the beach on new year eve was an amazing experience like no other.
Brandon Ha (☆ 5/5)

The kiwi experience was absolutely brilliant and best way to get around New Zealand. Our bus driver lightening ⚡️made our trip! He was knowledgeable, funny and willing to answer questions we had. Highly recommend it.

We had an amazing, stress-free experience! Our tour guide, Timothy, was not only fun but also incredibly knowledgeable, he shared fascinating insights throughout the drive, making sure there was never a dull moment.
The Hobbiton Tour was fantastic! We soaked in the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings, no need to be a Lord of the Rings fan to enjoy it. The glow worm cave was a true eye-opener as well. It was both relaxing and educational, we learned about the glow worms’ life cycle and the stunning limestone formations, and the underground boat ride through the cave was a highlight.
Tim’s planning was spot-on. Everything ran smoothly, with no time wasted and no sense of being rushed. I highly recommend booking these tours, it takes the stress out of travel, and having a local guide adds so much depth with their knowledge of the area’s history and culture. Absolutely worth every penny!
Eunice Ho (☆ 5/5)

We did the Hobbiton/Waitomo Caves combo tour and it was so good! Matt was our driver and he was wonderful. Super easy to chat to, great commentary and he got to know everyone on the tour and was so attentive to their needs. For us, we are going on to tour the South Island on our own and he gave us so many recommendations, Thank you Matt! Hobbiton was great, such a cool place to visit and the drink at the end was so tasty. The caves are so beautiful, but our tour guide there was not great (nothing to do with Auckland Scenic). Lunch is a cool spot with nice food and a kiwi vine round the back. On the way back to Auckland we stopped at a little shop with honey tasting which was so nice. Highly recommend this tour company to anyone and I wish we had more time to do another one!
Abie Farrell (☆ 5/5)

We did the Hobbiton and Cave tour. This entire experience was so fun and easy! Starting with the booking and communication. I appreciate all the information provided once this experience was booked. Very clear and concise instructions.
Pick up and drop off was a breeze! Mike was punctual and greeted us immediately with a smile. The drive to Hobbiton was very nice. We took the more scenic route and even had a time to step off the bus half way to stretch our legs and take pictures. The experience was well timed and never felt rushed. The time for Hobbiton, lunch and the caves were perfect. The rides inbetween were comfortable and Mike was so insightful in teaching us a lot about NZ history and facts about places as we passed them on the trip.
I know we cannot choose our guides, but if we could, I HIGHLY recommend Mike! Is the AMAZING!! So much fun and so knowledgeable. You can tell he is passionate about his country and I truly enjoyed my time even more because of him.
Britany Thomas (☆ 5/5)

We had such an amazing experience. The day started off great with our driver Mike picking us up right outside our door at 6:05 AM exactly when he said he would. He greeted us, correctly guessed where we were from based on my accent and had fun with us which was nice considering how early it was and we were tired and trying to get going.
We picked a few more people up and then had a beautiful drive to the Hobbiton film tour location. Mike explained so much about New Zealand to us on the way there which made the 2 hour trip feel short.
When we arrived at the Hobbiton set early, Mike was able to get us on an earlier tour which gave us just enough time to eat a delicious breakfast and get some items from the gift shop. The tour is another bus and guided by the Hobbiton tour group. It’s a great 1 hour or so tour where you get to see everything from the movies, take lots of photos and learn about behind the scenes things. I’ve wanted to see this since I saw the movies when they came out in the theaters and it didn’t disappoint. It’s even more beautiful than the movies. We ended in the Green Dragon Tavern and then met back up with Mike to head back to the bus. There is a good bit of walking so I wouldn’t recommend taking small kids on this.
We then made about an hour drive to a great little lunch place where Mike bought our lunch. We got one Savory item (meat pie, sandwich, etc.) a sweet item (pie, cake, etc.) and a drink. It was more than enough food for the rest of the trip.
Another short drive to the caves where Mike took us to the local guide and he took us through the caves. I was not expecting this to be as cool as it was. Our guide was really fantastic and the caves are very unique. It takes about 45 minutes or so to go through there.
We met back up with Mike and he drove us home about 2 hours or so. We saw more new things and beautiful scenery. Mike explained more and entertained us so the drive didn’t feel long at all.
I can’t recommend this enough. Just the drive there is worth the money. I was really only expecting the Hobbit tour to be the highlight but the entire experience was fantastic. Thanks Mike for making it great for my family.
Adam Aldrich (☆ 5/5)

Loved the tour to Hobbiton & Waitomo Glow Worm Cave. Our tour guide Mr.Mike was amazing throughout the journey. He explained and communicated well and made sure all of us were comfortable and having a good time. Very memorable day and thanks Auckland Scenic Tours for arranging this.
Charles Karedan (☆ 5/5)

We had a lovely half day tour of Auckland with Mike. He picked us up directly from our hotel downtown and we stopped at another location to pick people up from the cruise ship that was in town. He was very friendly and had lots of good information to share about Auckland. He was willing to help take pictures wherever we stopped. There was a nice amount of driving and walking around. For people with mobility restrictions, this tour may not be the best but some of the people on our tour stayed back on the bus while we walked around. The bus itself is very crammed in if it is at full capacity but the ability to get out and walk around helps with that! Overall a wonderful experience
Shauna Jones (☆ 5/5)

Matt was an excellent guide! We did the Hobbiton + Glowworm tour and he was so knowledgeable about this to get the most out of our tours. I will be recommending this company, specifically Matt, to anyone who asks for a fun, engaging, professional! Please give him a raise!!

No reception down there and bends on ramps where it’s easy to scratch your mag wheels. Good location decor upper city though and reasonable prices. Handy to pay on AT app but need to pay before going down because of no reception!

The fantastic old iron gates of the Auckland Town Hall caught my eye

Perfectly placed carpark at the top end of the city. The park is well place to get to nearly all of the cities attractions and the edge of the city placement is super convenient.Visit what you need or walk down one side of the high street and back up the other side. Car parks are a little on the third side, especially in a larger vehicle. It has great security and feels safe. Prices much of a much was.

Remember that you NEED TO PAY ONLINE using your car registration. This has always been a vital central city park that is very close to all entertainment and essential venues near Aotea Square.
Heemi Katene-Hill (☆ 4/5)

I’ve gotta say. I hadn’t been to the civic carpark for quite a number of years. So first “huh?” moment was not needing a ticket as u drive thru ( I did say it was quite a number of years!). Of course that now sent my stress levels up a wee bit and questions were running rampant such as ..”how the beep do I get out of here then? Who do I pay? Its not free is it?? All this while navigating to a carpark. And oh boy are they narrow! Anyway, parked, locked up, walked to stairs where I found all the reading material needed on how to pay, who to pay, where to pay. Moral of the story is…keep up with latest developments or stay out of the city!

Clean and convenient if you’re visiting Auckland City. Probably cheaper than parking at any hotel closeby.
No physical tickets required, all based on plate recognition.

Auckland City tours provides a great experience with very good scenic spot stop overs for photo shoot and a stop and hike at Mt Eden. All the while Josh provides great insighta into the history of the places, and many tivias on Auckland and Newzealand.
The choice of food stop was excellent – the pies, muffins and sandwiches were very tasty.
Overall excellent choice of places, managed very well and a very friendly host.
Few photos from the tour attached.

Paul was our man. Wonderful tour and even better was Paul’s attention to all of us and especially to my wife who is slightly challenged and tripped on a curb, inviting her ankle. Everyone sprang to her aid, and Paul’s took especially attention. VERY helpful and kind.
Paul is an excellent driver, it’s as if he wears the bus! Tight turns executed flawlessly. He’s been leading tired for 40 years, moist of them in Auckland city. We saw many wonderful buildings, but best of all were the stops for scenery photos. No rush, stopped for coffee, a pie and the necessaries.
Eugene R. Ehmann (☆ 5/5)

Josh was an awesome tour guide and we loved getting to see the surrounding areas of Auckland as well as just the city! Informative and fun, highly recommend.
Julia Tenore (☆ 5/5)

We took the city tour and had a great experience. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Auckland. We liked that the tour was not a full day, yet we got to see a number of places (like Mount Eden) that we could not have easily seen on our own. We thought the tour as n excellent overview of Auckland. Oh, and also the logistics (pickup, bathroom stop and lunch pickup) were well timed and organized.
David Silversmith (☆ 5/5)

Kia Ora! I am so glad that I booked the Auckland City Tours on my first day in the city. It felt like I’ve already seen most of what I needed to see and where should I be in Auckland. Josh made the tour really enjoyable and insightful Kudos to you guys! I personally recommend this service for those who will visit Auckland in the future.

Had money in my glove box and one month later the money was gone ! Untrust worthy operating staff, owner Paul said there’s never been an account of theft ever at his place. Very bad service 0 stars for this place

Like an angel from Heaven OTS saved our bacon when our truck got stuck in a very precarious position on a sloped driveway. A big thank you to Brenda in the office and Master Magician Keith in the truck for enabling our escape. Couldn’t be happier, or more relieved. Needless to say I can recommend OTS without hesitation.

AA sent Elam to collect our Van. We didn’t know what was wrong with it and the AA guy said it was the radiator… Elam checked it thoroughly and in the end he fixed it!! He was sooo kind and helpful. He explained us what the problem was and how to avoid it taking some precautions.

1 star for the AA guy (and that 1 star it’s just because he sent Elam )

Extraordinary work! Amit came this morning to tow our vehicle to a nearby garage and he was exceptional, how difficult it was to take our car out of the garage and get it to turn to face our long driveway but with the skills and mindset he had he made it look so easy. A Superstar – Thank you. I also would like to mention Cory at the office, you’re an Angel in human form, no normal human would do what you did but you were so kind enough to help me out this morning. 100% will use your servive again and highly recommeded for any one who will be needing this service. Thank you again.

My car had to be towed which was arranged by my insurance company. Within in minutes of the booking, I received a call from the towing company. As it was peak hour the lovely lady apologised there would be a delay. Despite the timing of the day they were still prompt and dealt with the towing very efficiently. Hope I don’t need you guys anytime soon 🙂
Awesome service, thankyou.

Only the red route was available in April which had 8 stops. The buses were easy to identify but the timetable was not reliable.the commentary was a little limited . The route took us to places we had not explored

Auckland est une grande ville et j’ai bien apprécié de pourvoir la visiter avec les bus explorer en plus le temps était super
Nadine Thery (☆ 5/5)

The buses are nice enough. The tour commentary is prerecorded and contrived. I liked the tour well enough but thought it’s over priced.
Gator Tex (☆ 4/5)

I’d like to provide some feedback regarding our recent experience.
The stop near Auckland Zoo was not located where it was shown on your official website, which caused confusion. In addition, the stop had no seating or shelter available, making the wait quite uncomfortable. The bus also did not depart on time, and we were left standing at the stop for 50 minutes.
We kindly suggest improving the accuracy of the stop information and schedule, and we highly recommend providing a mobile app or system that allows passengers to track the real-time location of the buses.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we hope to see improvements in the future.
fuchienpo01 (☆ 4/5)

Great day with the easy to use hop on hop off system. We have used this in other countries around the world and have thoroughly enjoyed it in Auckland too. Totally recommend for an easy and safe way to see the city.
Lynne Thomson (☆ 5/5)

Wifi mostly wasn’t working. The explanations weren’t always timed correctly, but I really liked the staff. They were all really nice, friendly and helpful! Still a good way to get around the city and get to know everything a little. But, there’s room for improvement.
Shosanna Rayss (☆ 3/5)

Excellent tourer bus experience. Commentary is by loudspeaker, not earpiece. Commentary was very interesting and better than other hop on hop off tours we have taken. Highly recommended. Make sure you board initially at stops 1,2 or 3 as the purchase or exchange of tickets and travel vouchers is easies at those points.

Customer Reviews
Completely useless service. The taxi said he would be 8-10 minutes, he never arrived. We had booked a function at 7pm, we booked the taxi at 6:10 so that would’ve worked perfectly. No one came, no one called to let us know he had cancelled.
after 45 minutes, we called again and the driver said he would be 4 minutes. By the time HE came, it was 5 minutes to 7pm. My mum drove up from coromandel to attend a function she had paid for, because of this taxi company we would’ve arrived by the time they had closed the doors on late attendees. A total waste of money. I’d recommend everyone to avoid this taxi company at all costs if they’re planning to arrive on time for ANYTHING.

I booked five taxi-vans for yesterday to transport my team to and from a company event in the city. I confirmed the bookings more than three times, including a phone call one hour before the first scheduled pickup. I was assured everything was set.
Despite that, the first van showed up late (scheduled for 2:45 PM), and the two vans booked for 3:15 PM never arrived at all. When I called to follow up, the representative told me you “couldn’t find vans” — how is that possible for a pre-booked and confirmed service?
Due to this unreliability, I canceled the remaining two vans scheduled for 7:15 PM. On top of the logistical failure, customer service was very poor and unhelpful.
I will not use Co-op Taxi again, and I do not recommend them to anyone.

Driver of Fleet 089 came to picked me up from dialysis clinic. He arrived 7mins early and called me twice (which he was not supposed to). I couldn’t answer my phone as I was busy cleaning up. I got in the taxi and the driver rudely said “I called you you didn’t answer me. I told him he’s early and I was busy cleaning up.” He then said “answer your phone when I call.” I tried telling him he was early and he told me ‘not to talk to him loudly otherwise he wouldn’t take me.’ So I got out the taxi and asked the nurse to book me another taxi. This is one of few drivers who have done this!

Complete and utter useless service. Called and booked a cab yesterday for 8am today. No cab. We call. Oh yes we see you have a booking. But we don’t have any cabs in your area. The closest is in Auckland. 45 minutes away. Then what’s the point in booking. Have had to get an user and now late for an important appointment. Disgusting.

Appalling booking system. “Booking” apparently just means an expression of interest and no guarantee. When pre-booking a van for 11 passengers a week in advance, I was told that there was “no guarantee” that a driver would be available on that day and time, and that I would only be informed 20 minutes before. This uncertainty is obviously hopeless when trying to pre-plan an event. Staff member on the phone was completely disinterested and unhelpful.

I called Auckland Co-op taxis today 1st January and asked what I need to do regarding prepaid pick up for our cruise that departs Princes wharf late January, Rae was truly awesome guiding me through the procedure, 5 star review for a professional company. Not sure why so many only give them 1 star . Update— our driver arrived even a bit earlier than we organized, we are very happy with Auckland Co op Taxis

Auckland Transport has made significant strides in enhancing public transportation efficiency over the years. With the introduction of the AT Hop card, passengers can enjoy seamless travel across various modes of transport, which simplifies fare payments and improves the overall experience. Additionally, the ability to transfer between buses and trains within a short timeframe for a single fare is a commendable feature that benefits regular commuters.
The consistent efforts to modernize the system are evident, although there is still room for improvement in certain areas. The accessibility of contactless payments has been a game-changer, and it reflects Auckland Transport’s commitment to providing convenience for its users. Overall, the progress made by Auckland Transport shows promise for a more effective public transport system in the future.

This incident happened on Hobson Street near Skycity.
I was recently involved in an incident where a bus struck the entire left side of my vehicle, damaging the panel and breaking the side mirror. The bus driver did not stop or follow the proper procedure of exchanging details, which was both shocking and distressing.
I raised the issue with Auckland Transport, and they have since followed up with an apology and advised that the matter has been referred to the bus operations team for review. While I appreciate their response and professionalism, I feel it’s important to share this experience publicly in hopes that other drivers, especially those operating large public service vehicles are reminded of their duty to drive safely and take responsibility when incidents occur.
My goal in leaving this review is not only to express my concern but to help prevent similar incidents from happening to others.
Stay safe everyone.

Other people might say ‘Auckland Transport’ (AT) is garbage, unreliable, and waste of tax-payers money. Although that might be true for some cases but for me, AT Transport bus system has made improvements over the last decade, at least from my perspective on the North Shore. I remember back from 2010 to 2016. I would have to carry 3 different types of bus vouchers or carry cash to get on the bus. Cash was super inconvenient due to excess change. But then, they released the snapper card (AT hop card prototype). Which made paying for transportation a lot easier, but it was only for a few selected bus companies. But now, all the bus companies accept AT Hop cards or contactless payments (visa/mastercard) and im grateful to Auckland transport for this. What’s funny is that back in 2022, I wondered why AT couldn’t allow contactless payments to take on and tag off sense it was essentially the same technology (the magnetic chip in the cards). However, I was surprised and glad that it’s now accessible too. I also find it great that if you transfer the mode of transportation, I.e. transfer from bus to bus, bus to train or ferry within 30 mins. The whole trip is 1 fare. For example. If i catch the 926 bus route from Hillcrest, North shore and I get off at Aloranga bus station and if I am able to catch a NX1 or NX2 bus within 30 mins after I got off the 926 bus. The whole trip from Hillcrest to downtown Britomart would cost me $4.65 (adult fare). Though I can’t remember the old fare back in 2020, if i would estimate, the current trip would cost around $7.00 (including rough estmates of inflation). Sure, other parts of Auckland, the transportation is bad, the trains are apparently unreliable (though back in 2018, before the train upgrade to electric rails) the trains was reliable 9/10 times or maybe I was just lucky 9/10 times lol. Anyways, I definitely do believe AT has a lot more to improve on (especially connecting North shore and further up north to the city) because let’s face it. The Harbor bridge is becoming more and more like a clogged artery vein, and the traffic (blood flow) is adding more and more pressure on the main artery vein (harbor bridge). I do believe another channel of traffic flow should be looked into for connecting North shore to the city because let’s face it, the harbor bridge has been there since 30th May 1959 lol…! Overall, 4 stars. Would be 5 stars, but I understand there are parts of Auckland where transportation is still kinda scarce.

ALWAYS CHECK THE INFRINGEMENT PHOTOS ONLINE BEFORE PAYING ANY AUCKLAND TRANSPORT FINES!
I received a $100 infringement notice from Auckland Transport, but when I checked the photo evidence on their website, it showed a completely different car — one I have absolutely no connection to. I also did not go to that location on that day. Despite this obvious error, the fine was still issued and referred to Baycorp.
I genuinely feel like I’m being scammed by Auckland Transport. And I’m not alone — the same thing has happened to a friend’s friend too. Their process is careless, flawed, and causes unnecessary stress for people who’ve done nothing wrong.

I’ve never seen a transport system this bad before in my life. Buses and trains get cancelled without so much as a notification, leaving you stuck unable to get to where you need to go. Sometimes they don’t even give you the decency of labeling the bus as cancelled, just never shows up.
If you can avoid using Auckland transport please do. The city is mostly walkable, if not I’d recommend asking to carpool or get a lift from someone rather than use this go awful service

29th March 2025 – it took me 45 minutes to get from Ponsonby Road on the inner link to Auckland Central railway station. The buses are supposed to come every 10 minutes. It turned out to be over 20 minutes plus sitting waiting in Victoria Park for ages. Auckland transport can simply not get their act together with buses. No security, every day I catch the inner link and every day passengers are getting on free – no confrontation. Last week there were some people glue sniffing in the back of the bus and neither of the driver nor any of the passengers said anything, I had to tell the driver three times before he understood – despite the overwhelming vapour that someone was sniffing glue in the bus. Chaotic unreliable service. Contract it out – surely there must be a better way. Where are security? Catch a uber instead

Auckland transport is probably one of the worst organisation transport I have ever seeing . Signal with non sense , creating this ridiculous T2 and T3 creating more chaos in the street at pick time , bus drivers are rude and over speeding all the time , I have seeing several times passing even in red lights , Embarrassing, you guys are shame , and then when you fine and you get the reasons not answer , is just pathetic. That’s why Auckland is well known of one of the worst public transport in the world , but of course make sense

I visited constellation drive, customer service window, and struck really good fortune with Sia able to sort out my rather tricky problem of my cancelled previous AT – senior card, which still had $155 on it and ensuring the the new card balance of $32 remained in tact for my use have then ensuring the process of ensuring the old balance can then be returned to my bank account and keeping the latest balance in place on the new card. She was so patient with me cause I was terribly confused from the ongoing situation . I ‘d sought advice 3 times over this tricky process from others, which she finally sorted.
It was a previously messy process and I realised that the telephone people vs the on site person have a different process to rectify this tricky situation.
Thanks Sia and I hope she is able to become a trainer because she definitely knows her stuff inside out 🙂
