One of the movers was alone in a room and tried to tip a large, heavy oak desk from one end, all by himself. It needed two people to lift it, or at least to do it carefully from the middle. The desk twisted, and a leg was broken. My daughter and I heard a crash, and came in to see the splintered wood. (Photo attached)
When I tried to talk to him and his colleague about it they were very rude to me. This is what I am most upset about. The rudeness.
If he had owned his mistake I would not be so upset. Instead he tried to claim it was already broken and denied responsibility. He made all different kinds of weak excuses, instead of just saying sorry. The movers shouted me down, talking over me and down to me - not yelling, but with raised voices - when I was trying to address the situation. I was speaking to them calmly, but firmly, and had to work hard just to be heard. They eventually told me they would pass the photo of the damage onto the company and I would hear from them, but this has not happened.
This is very unprofessional behaviour.
I paid professional prices, I expected professional services.
I have emailed the company a complaint, with no response.
*01/02/2025 Update. Despite finally apologising to this review publicly and offering compensation, they have done nothing. I have contacted them a couple of times, and they have still not followed through on their word. I believe it was all for show. They asked me to remove the review first.

The guy who delivered my king size bed did an exceptional job, over and above what he was told to do, and, as I am an old lady on my own, I was extremely grateful for his help, as I couldn't have managed on my own. This review is for him alone, not necessarily the company, as he really did do a five star job. Many thanks to him.

Was disappointed with this company. Broken furniture, marks and finger prints on my lounge suite and lost items. Have been trying to get them to clean my lounge suit, and have supplied them with two cleaning comp they could use as requested . They agreed to pay full cleaning and then only payed half of the cleaning of lounge suite. Have been waiting for 3 months. Still have not couriered my items they lost and then found. The broken furniture was not replaced. This is not a good service. I would not recommend this moving company. I have called them over the 3 months and nothing has been done that they agreed on. Always say that they will call back and never do.

Just want to endorse Trust Movers for a job well done. Due to circumstances and a short time frame Trust Movers was able to help out with this quick move. Due to our time constraints they were very flexible in planning around our hectic time schedule. Pankaj & Ritik are a great team and going over and above what was asked of them. A very good client focused service with a practical 'thinking-out-of-the-box' attitude.
Job well done.

Hey Team,
Overall I found the experience working with you all inconsistent and unprofessional. My furniture arrived, but I found:
1) a missing glass top for my coffee table (probably broken).
2) a broken wooden tv cabinet with dirty gumboots all over it,
3) A broken box labeled FRAGILE which had clearly been ignored and had items stacked on top of it.
4) You've delivered me someone else's bed base items.
5) Your communication about delivery was unclear, inconsistent, and I had to call 3-4 times to get an answer for when my items would be delivered after 2 weeks.
I would not repeat your services, and would like some compensation for the items broken before paying my final invoice.

SCAMMERS!! DO NOT USE!! I was told I had to pay for 4 hours, I refused as likely was 2 hours, and agreed to pay 3 hours. "Danny" assured me I would be refunded for any overpayment of unused time. Two Indian men arrived 4 hours after the booked time. I noted down the start time. After loading up, I followed them to the new location. However they stopped at the first dairy, bought snacks and ate them there. On arrival, they put my appliances and shelving units facing the wall, so I had to turn everything around before I could unpack. Spite? (cause movers can't be that dumb and they certainly were not in a hurry) When the mover said, "I'm calling in the finish time to the office now", I showed my phone to my flatmate and noted done the finish time. It had been 2 hours and 8 minutes from arrival to finish. I emailed 6x asking for my refund (refund calculated by a professional I have sought advice from) and have received nothing. I am an Immigrant and I am Very Grateful to be in New Zealand and I act accordingly. I certainly didn't come to this amazing country to Scam New Zealanders. The advice I received from this professional is to take them to The Disputes Tribunal. I recommend every one else who has been scammed by these people to also do this. (I won't be reading your "comments" as I've had a gutsful; will see what you have to say at The Tribunal.

These were the best movers we could have asked for. We were doing a long distance move, for a large houselot, from a property with very difficult access due to a steep, narrow driveway.
From quote (they came and inspected the access and all the items within 24 hours of enquiry, and still came in well below other options) to booking (timely confirmation and good communication leading up to the move) to arriving right on schedule, they were excellent.
There was a potential hiccup, when the movers arrived and had almost brought a too small truck because of a hiccup in communication, but, they had opted for the larger option they had and this was big enough for everything but the microwave!
They managed the difficult access amazingly, and loaded the truck efficiently, but with plenty of care and attention to being protective of our items.
They made good time on the trip down and then unloaded swiftly, checking on item placement well. They even moved a fridge left in the new house by previous owners to make room for ours!
Throughout they were professional, courteous, kind and friendly, even having a bit of a laugh about my husbands garage hoarding....
I am really grateful for their efficiency and care of our belongings.
