Routinely the most cost effective on Auto deliver option. Easy to set up auto deliver, very flexible to allow changes etc. Good communication and suggestions from customer service team. Products arrive beautifully packaged and undamaged. This is truly such a time saver and takes the worry out of having to order your furkids foodies and supplies. Love this service.
Amanda Pybus (☆ 5/5)

Great fast services.
I have to buy my dogs pet food from here as they are the only ones who seem to stock the specific food. However it’s on an automatic payment every 13weeks and it’s so easy, fast delivery and simple to use. I don’t need to worry about anything. Pups still feed and happy.
Very happy with the service.10/10
Prasanna (☆ 5/5)

Not the first time it happened that the price went up in the 3 days between the reminder email and the delivery email and without any warning. The higher price was deducted without any mentioning! How can I trust you to not deduct whatever you see fit? I have now cancelled all autoship orders. Wanted to close my account, but the really nice customer lady only cancelled my credit card and autoship…well, I am not going to try again. You need to let customers know that you hiked up prices before you deduct it from our accounts!
margarete carsten (☆ 1/5)

Amazing service and products every time! Blessed to be able to find more affordable prices prescriptions to ease the costs of our pets health!
Customer service team is excellent. No automations call straight to a helpful friendly person every time. Same products from your vet and pet store but better for your budget.
Kayla Matthews (☆ 5/5)

Very happy with the range of products they have. There prices are cheaper than other places for the same product. Website was easy to navigate and was delivered within a 2 days. We will be purchasing in the future for sure.

Jono and the team are just so wonderful and caring for our Barney! We have felt so welcomed into the Pooped family. Barney sits and waits for Jono to pick him up so he can run and play with his new fur friends.
Meg (☆ 5/5)

Pooped! Ashe is thoroughly thrilled and eager for his walks and off leash adventures with Jono and crew. They are all very kind, patient and easy to communicate with to set up walk schedules with pick ups and drop offs but more importantly absolutely trust worthy. The videos and photos they upload on their IG account makes my heart happy seeing and knowing Ashe is carefree, happy and with excellent dog walkers watching him.
Catherine Gadsby (☆ 5/5)

We cannot recommend Jono and his team highly enough. They have been pack walking our 2 dogs for a couple of years and have added so much joy to our dogs lives. The level of communication, care, and professionalism is truly exceptional. We are so pleased to have found Jono and his team and our dogs love them so much. Thanks so much, Brett and Leanne
West Auckland (☆ 5/5)

Jono and his team are the absolute BEST! My dog runs for the van when the doorbell rings and doesn’t even look back. He comes back exhausted and is content to snooze the rest of the day. The best part is that we recently learned he lost 3kg at his latest vet visit after starting his walks with Pooped! I trust the team with my boy and they are great at communicating pick ups and drop off. It’s also so fun to follow my pup on insta at the end of the day – his smiles in the pics are priceless. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Katharine Hall (☆ 5/5)

Jono and his team run such a fantastic dog walking service. Can’t recommend them enough. They are flexible, friendly and take great care of our puppy Pepper.
Nicola Tong (☆ 5/5)

We cannot speak highly enough of Jono and Pooped 🙂 We have two Cavoodles, a seven year old and a ten month puppy, and realised that while exercise would be helpful for both, the younger one would benefit from more doggy contact. She was confident with her older sister but getting a little cautious with other dogs and seemed a little worried while walking, even though she has been to puppy school. All of that has changed since they started walking with Jono at Pooped. They are so happy to see him at each pick up, and the videos of walks are lovely and it is magic to see our dogs bounding about. In addition, when we walk our dogs we have seen a really positive behavioural change in our puppy, who now greets and interacts with other new dogs with much more confident and appropriate behaviour. We are really delighted, and feel very fortunate to have found Jono and Pooped. We can’t be effusive enough in our recommendation and review – thanks so much for looking after our pooches 🙂
Leanne Taylor-Miller (☆ 5/5)

Pooped professional dog walkers is just the best. Our dog gus loves his walks so much. It makes me and my family so happy knowing he is looked after and walked every day. He comes gone so happy, relaxed and pooped! Just the best service ever. Jono is reliable, professional and flexible. We also had Joni help train Gus with walking on the lead and coming back to us when we called. It was amazing how much he helped Gus and he’s now a very good boy on the lead. Highly recommend Pooped dog walking business.

We took our puppy, Toby, to the puppy training class and we are so glad we did! Louise was amazing with the dogs and so knowledgeable! She makes the lessons fun for the pups and breaks each trick into easy, bite-sized steps. We would recommend her classes to anyone!
Emma Wood (☆ 5/5)

It has been great to come back for another group classes with Louise. Athena and dad have learnt a lot of new skills and tricks, which we will carry on with. We Highly recommend, Louise is very helpful, knowledgeable and the classes were very engaging. We look forward to having more ongoing lessons with Louise. Thank you! Nas & Athena
Nas Matar (☆ 5/5)

My puppy and I just completed the Puppy Essentials classes with Louise. She is such an engaging teacher and her passion for working with dogs shines. Her teaching methods are clear, practical and encourage your puppy to make good decisions. I’m very happy with her classes and would recommend them to anyone, whether it’s your first puppy or not.
M V (☆ 5/5)

I just finished a four-week puppy training program with Louise at The Dog Business for my puppy, Coco. Louise is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and practical. She made each session fun and easy to understand, giving me the confidence as a first-time puppy parent to continue training at home.
Connie Wang (☆ 5/5)

Louise has helped us tremendously! She always goes the extra mile, super enthusiastic and an all round lovely lady! Louise is very knowledgable and helped us with Stella’s insecurity with other dogs. We had gone to many trainers with no success but an hour with Louise and we were seeing a huge improvement! She then helped us with our puppy and his early socialisation. Always a positive and successful experience with a clear plan of what to do next. Would highly recommend!!
Anna Thompson (☆ 5/5)

What an awesome experience for both Brioche and us (her fur parents). Louise has a calm, empathetic, friendly and caring approach to helping us train our little puppy. She was clear in her teaching, and it was very easy for us to understand and follow her instructions. In the four weeks of attending Louise’s class, Brioche blossomed from a timid and shy puppy to a confident and curious social butterfly! Thank you Louise for sharing your knowledge with us!
Arno Nothnagel (☆ 5/5)

Louise is an amazing force free dog trainer. We seriously can’t thank her enough for what she has done for our puppy. He has come such a long way since we started with her and I seriously can’t say a bad word about our overall experience with The Dog Business.
Louise has gone above and beyond for us. With the extra after class information (training videos , more written information & SO many extra tips) and in class information etc she really in our eyes is just the best.
Her classes not only cover the information you are expecting to learn eg – our class was focused around recall; she also covered SO much more.
We are so happy we crossed paths with her. Thank you for ALL your support, help and guidance- your wisdom on force free training is impeccable and you have provided us with so much knowledge.
I would recommend Louise and The Dog Business for ANYONE with a puppy or a dog, trained or not. The Dog Business NZ is the place to go!!!

Really great pet. The staff are friendly and helpful, the vets are very kind and patient. The fee is also pretty reasonable. They have both of my babies approval. Highly recommended.
yen tu (☆ 5/5)

Came here for a second opinion and was very happy with my choice.
Dr. James is absolutely great with my usually male reactive dog. Dr. James is very knowledgable and explains everything thoroughly!
A great feature of this clinic is the large exam room. It’s provides great space for reactive dogs not to feel too tight or cornered.
All the staff I have met are lovely and helpful!
Alyson Neufeld (☆ 5/5)

Absolutely incredible experience at St Luke’s Vet – extremely appreciative of vet Helen + team for their extensive knowledge and care of my cat. We had a big health scare earlier this year that required very bespoke and niche veterinary knowledge that Helen was able to provide alongside a positive and caring attitude. So grateful and appreciative for the care we received (and continue to receive!) ❤️
Emma Morgan (☆ 5/5)

I wad recommended to come here by some family members, but I regret doing so. When I got there, the wait time was super long for some reason. I arrived to my appt on time, yet they didn’t see me for ages. Fine… it happens. But when I met the vet, he was very cold.. Like I was worried about my cat vomitting and being lethargic.. but he was like straight faced and monotone. I’ve never met such a cold vet… I ended up moving to another vet and he was wonderful, he even called me the next day to follow up and see how my baby was.
Also the receptionist was quite cold. I don’t know.. perhaps I came on a bad day or they are only kind to their regulars.. but I came all the way from West Auckland bc someone told me St Lukes Vet was the best and my first experience was very uninviting and cold. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re a first timer… they only care about their regulars and they will be very cold to you since they don’t know you.
Alex Cheah (☆ 2/5)

The best vets ever! Unfortunately we’ve had a fair few visits in the last few weeks after our dog was attacked by another dog – everyone here has been so lovely and caring and takes such good care of our greyhound.
James is super lovely and knowledgeable and nothing is ever a trouble (i.e. my hundreds of questions).
They’re often busy and I can see why, because they’re so good at what they do
Claire Foy (☆ 5/5)

I only have the highest praise for St Lukes Vet Centre. We’ve been coming here since they opened and have always had the best service. Lovely staff which is always welcome if you’re feeling anxious, good advice and caring vets who are always happy to answer your questions. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
Kate Carter (☆ 5/5)

For the time we went here for little Bella they have been the most lovely vet. So helpful. I have been to many rabbit vets in the past and by far they are the best. We had to put her down today and they made it the best way to say goodbye. They let us have some privacy as well to say a proper goodbye. You guys are outstanding. ❤️ Huge props. Thank you for helping her in the way that you could.

Janet, Tony and Cailin really are the dream team. Other than being lovely human beings, they all really care about the dogs they take out. As well as providing a much appreciated pick up and drop off service, the walks are not just tiring but also good training. Our dog is noticeably calmer and better behaved after being with Hipster Dogs. I cannot recommend them higher

Janet and the team are very knowledgeable and caring dog walkers. Reign absolutely loved going on the walkies. Thank you for looking after Reign!

Miss Zeta Ridgeback and Mr Enzo Ridgeback could not be any happier with the Hipsters service and their humans too!
Janet and her team are the loveliest caring dog walkers that we had. We see how happy the dogs are when they come back from their walkies and we see the love they have for our 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
We can highly recommend their services!
Manu Loths (☆ 5/5)

Janet and her team are amazing!
My girl piper loves this place so much, she knows what day she goes walking and waits at the door, Janet has gone above and beyond when it comes to piper, I’m so impressed and happy with them! we will forever continue with hipster dogs I will recommend them to everyone! ❤️ The best dog walker team in west Auckland!
Asha Brass (☆ 5/5)

After trying several doggie schools without success, my dog developed bad habits and was expelled. However, since discovering Hipsterdogs, everything has been exceptional from the start. Not only does this place leave my dog Kobe mentally and physically exhausted, but he also receives top-notch training and goes on exciting adventures. The entire team is fantastic, and Kobe eagerly anticipates his pickups. I couldn’t recommend Hipsterdogs more highly for pet owners seeking comprehensive care and positive results.
Jessica Choner (☆ 5/5)

I contacted Hipster dogs after Timmy had a leg injury and needed some on leash walks throughout the day. Janet was really understanding and catered to my work day, providing 30min walks in between her group adventures.
Once he was able to run again she was amazing at easing him into the adventure walks, used a step ladder to get in and out of the van and kept him on a long lead. Timmy absolutely loves his adventures with the Hipster team and it gives me peace of mind knowing he’s looked after and happy.
*the red suit is just another perk to ease his grass allergies haha
Frances Matthews (☆ 5/5)

This is a very special team of real genuine dog loving and skilled people. Im so bloody glad I found them! I’ve been meaning to pop a review on here for ages and today I was reminded to do it when I happen to walk past a not so great pack walk in progress. With these guys you can be assured your fur kids are in great hands, which in an industry that’s unregulated, can be hard to be sure of. My two are absolutely in love with the whole team and sit by the door waiting for the hipsters van to pull in the driveway. They go out of their way to accommodate my dogs needs from putting on sunscreen to carrying one around when she had a sore leg so she didn’t miss out! They are worth every dollar because I know my dogs are in the best hands when they go out. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Good Walk to anyone looking for safe, stimulating dog walking services. My dog adores Aless, & her dog friends, she is incredibly excited to go and then happy, contented and tired out on return. Aless provides an excellent service, she is friendly, knowledgeable and the communication is fantastic.
Anna Shaw (☆ 5/5)

I’m so happy we found Aless. She has an amazing way with dogs. From the first time our dog met her, I knew that he would be in good hands. Our dog hadn’t been enjoying dog daycare and he seems much happier now getting to go on fun adventures with Aless and the Tiny Gang over the last year. Aless posts videos and photos after each outing (which we eagerly await!) and all the dogs are so happy playing or doing their own thing sniffing around.
Rachel Dimery (☆ 5/5)

GoodWalk was the best dog walking service for my little pooch ! Aless was very helpful – basically doubled as a second mum to Monty. She always provided feedback on his outings and assisted where possible with any additional training that she felt he could work on and made recommendations where necessary which i feel is what every dog mum wants and needs! A++ you can trust that your pooch is in trusted and capable hands ☺️
Estelle Rewiri (☆ 5/5)

Love Aless! She is so amazing with my slightly hyper and anxious dog. She is great with communication if anything on either of our ends need to change. Archie love his walks, and I love the photos she posts of him.
Kate Cadzow (☆ 5/5)

Aless has provided amazing care to my Freddie. He is prone to grass seeds in his paws which has resulted in two previous surgeries before he moved to Goodwalks. Aless is very careful to keep him off long grass in the grass seed season and we have had no further problems. Freddie loves his pack walks and I know he is in safe and expert hands!
Monique Sullivan (☆ 5/5)

Truly the best dog walker in Auckland! I feel so lucky to have found Aless and my little terrier Otis absolutely adores her. He enjoys his regular weekly walks and always comes back happy & tired. Love the updates on social media so I can see how my dog is enjoying his day! Aless makes logistics so easy too. Highly highly recommend, there’s a reason she has 5 stars!
Ross Batchelor (☆ 5/5)

Aless from GoodWalk provided an excellent service for our dog Luna. Great communication and she always turned up when arranged. Luna got very, very excited whenever Aless turned up to take her for a walk and was tired and happy when she got back. We didn’t have any problems or concerns at all and would recommend if you are looking for a reliable dog walking service with someone who obviously loves dogs.

Our dog, Ollie has been going to Scissors hounds Mission Bay for 5 years and Nico and his team are amazing. Ollie looks so neat and smells lovely afterwards. I know how tricky to groom the dogs as we have tried it a couple times during Covid which was so terribly hard. We always appreciate their great work. Highly recommended to anyone
Ina Bae (☆ 5/5)

Nico is so lovely and nothing is ever a problem! He is very good at his job and is so calm with the dogs. A beautiful haircut for Lulu thank you
Cate Rainbow (☆ 5/5)

Really happy with our first of hopefully many more visits to Scissorhounds Mission Bay. My cat Miso is a Persian X and her fur gets very long and hard for her to manage, plus it’s very hard for us to get the brush everywhere.
The groomer was very nice and gentle and spoke with me beforehand to check what sort of groom I’d like, which admittedly I said I’m happy with any length and cut because what’s important was to get rid of some of the underbelly matting.
We are so happy with the result, she looks so cute but most importantly she seems so much happier now that her fur isn’t hurting her. She’s mostly quite aloof but she’s been hanging out with us more since the shave.
Thank you so much for your expertise and patience with her, she probably didn’t show it at the time but she is very grateful, as are we!
Lydia Hayward (☆ 5/5)

Very happy to have finally found a dog groomer who can manage Ginny’s claws. I tried 3 different places before this: they were all either very pricey, unable to hold her or other difficulties. Yay Scissorhounds mission bay! Thanks for being quick, well-priced and excellent dog handlers.
cj hobbs (☆ 5/5)

Our little toy poodle had the most amazing experience. Normally she is petrified and we pick her up trembling. Our first time trying Scissor hounds mission bay and she came back so relaxed and happy. A bonus is that it’s the best groom she’s had and the groomers actually listened to our preferences. We are so happy. Won’t go anywhere else!
Francesca Muir (☆ 5/5)

Thank you for a wonderful hair cut and grooming yesterday. Benji is so frightened after he was badly cut ( at another groomers) that we had given up and tried to do it ourselves . . Not very successful!
I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but he had a full groom and is looking very handsome.
Thank you to all at Scissor Hounds

Barkley Manor has been an absolute lifesaver for both of my dogs! My Cane Corso started attending their puppy program when she was just 8-12 weeks old, and she’s gone through every stage of their classes since then. The staff are so loving, attentive, and truly dedicated to the dogs in their care. My Cane Corso is completely besotted with them, and I trust them wholeheartedly.
More recently, my English Pointer has joined, and he’s been settling in beautifully. The team has been incredibly supportive, especially with helping him establish boundaries (he’s quite the counter surfer!). They’ve been so patient and knowledgeable, and it’s made a world of difference.
I couldn’t recommend Barkley Manor more—it’s by far one of my favorite places for my dogs. The love and care they provide are unmatched!
Christie J Lawson (☆ 5/5)

Barkley did such a great job with our doggy. He is a rescue dog who is quite anxious around others, so we were quite nervous dropping him off. However, the grooming team listened to our concerns and talked to us through the process. We were extremely transparent and let them know about him being incredibly protective of the both of us, so he will bite if you get too close when he is with us. However, without us he’s completely harmless. They were extremely encouraging throughout our conversations which left us feeling a lot better and made sure to ask different questions about the grooming so we could both be on the same page, and Shacky could be comfortable. After his groom, we were incredibly pleased to hear that he was fine around other dogs and even gave them loads of kisses. Although they needed two people to cut nails ( sorry grooming team!) They remained positive and truthful about the groom, which we appreciated. He also came out super calm and relaxed! With other groomers, he always came out shaking, sparking concern.
Thankyou once again Barkley!
Tanya Baker (☆ 5/5)

Pickle has attended daycare at Barkley for over a year now after graduating from the puppy school. We were taught the skills we needed to best support our pup from the start and had the support to discuss specifics we needed help with. We adored hearing about her friends and seeing photos from her day on the facebook page. Pickle LOVES daycare and her aunties and even when we started working from home we kept a regular booking as a treat day for her. She loves the show too and seeing her friend Bartok helping yet another rescue. Thanks Barkley!
Kayla Geraets (☆ 5/5)

Amazing doggy daycare. The staff are friendly, caring and know most of the dogs (even if you only come once/week). They separate the big and small dogs which is reassuring.
My dog is always super excited when we arrive and tuckered out when he leaves.
Annemiek Powell (☆ 5/5)

Great doggy daycare right in the city. Great staff with great service. Totally recommend taking your little one.
Malcolm Wong (☆ 5/5)

Our dog Moose loves coming here to play with his friends. I always feel safe leaving him there and know that the team treat all the pups with affection and kindness. He always looks so happy when I pick him up and he sleeps so well afterwards.
Eve (☆ 5/5)

I have taken dogs through puppy training and the advanced course on mastering life.
Barkley Manor have excellent trainers that work well together to manage the training sessions. They demonstrate techniques and explain what is going on to give you an understanding of how to effectively train and manage your dog.
I was also impressed with their ability to problem solve, suggesting ideas and helpful tips for particular issues that anyone in the class was having difficulty with.

Customer Reviews
Papillon dog, ear fringe cut. Did specify before grooming not to cut it *facepalm*
(Ear fringe is their signature look and can take upto 2yrs to fully grow back as this part grows in layers)
Unfortunate as I have been using their services since 2019 and they always had left the ear fringe alone till today.
Sorry I’m just not confident to take my dog there anymore:
First, whoever was the groomer clearly doesnt know about some dogs (ie. Not cutting ears of papillons)
However, second and more importantly, she ignored the request – i don’t expect the groomers to know all about breed specific needs hence the specific and only request not to cut his ear
Thank you for your services till now. 31/12/2024
Edit reply to owner: please check your phone messages and your internet contact message. There’s an attempt on both.
And the discounted price of $85 (they did offer further $20 refund, no more. Sorry i dont need a half-tried attempt. Keep the 85) – i feel so stupid for have paying it although I was in shock at the time! I should’ve have spoken with the manager then – i wouldn’t have paid my hairdresser for shaving my hair, so why should have i paid for the fringe cut?
Edit: Monthly update/fringe diary
16 Apr. Fringe still not back to normal. Finally grew out something worthy to call a fringe

This is the best groom our dog has ever had! We were very impressed with the complete service from ease of booking right through to picking him up. We highly recommend taking your dog here! The before and after photos say it all!

Stella had her first professional groom at Paw Hub Pet Grooming and she looks wonderful. Great job team. She’s now enjoying a well deserved treat
Mela Haughie (☆ 5/5)

Had my two dogs and two cats at Pawhub over the years and although none of them love it obviously, they have always come out looking and smelling great. Jess who was half Samoyed/tibetian terrier always had the undercoat brushed out so she kept her long fur but so much lighter for her and so much nicer than being shaved. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The team are always friendly and would do what I asked in a professional manner.

Felt the need to comment and give a 5 star as we have been coming to Paw Hub for three years and tried a different groomer this weekend for the first time. BIG mistake – we will never veer from Paw Hub again. Great groomers who always do such a fantastic job of grooming Minnie our schnauzer. Always is meticulously groomed, smells absolutely delicious and is so happy when she comes out. Please never change you guys are fantastic.

Coco absolutely loves going to daycare, even though she’s usually quite timid and cautious. The staff are always welcoming and take great care of her throughout the day. I love being able to see photos of her having fun with other dogs, and the online booking is super convenient. We’ve also tried bathing services after daycare a few times, and it’s been great. Thank you for always looking after Coco so well!

We have used them for the first time after a lot of research for our dog. From word go the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and loving for small ones. Highly impressed after keeping my dog with them and finding him so comfortable and happy after his first day with the day care. Special thanks to Brooke, Ariana, Shavaun for their wonderful service and caring nature for my dog. I strongly recommend them to all and will use them more often from now.
Cheers

Our timid wee rescue Teddy just had his assessment and started last week. We know this is the best place for him and its wonderful they have a room for separation for newbies to get used to things. Would highly recommend PIC Mt Wellington, and look forward to Teddy enjoying his new family too! Plus opening at 6.30am is such a great game changer and removes the stress of getting to work on time after dropping him off! Thanks a million to the PICMW team!

PITCMTW has been by far the easiest dog kennel/boarding facility I have dealt with - easy to set up your profile and choose your packages and book your dog in. The initial assessment of our pup Edward was so easy - and all his day stays and boarding has been a breeze. They take such great care of every pet - they know all their regulars so well! All the staff are AMAZING <3. Easy, quick, amazing, reliable and super friendly. Eddie LOVES them all as do we. Highly recommend taking your pups there. :D[/su_testimonial][su_button url="https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJkbmlif1LDW0RgCfTwoRIkE0&q=Pets+In+The+City+Mt+Wellington&authuser=0&hl=en&gl=ES" target="blank" background="#4040FE" size="3" icon="icon: comments" id="btnComentarios" style="ghost" icon_color="#4040FE" color="#4040FE"]View all reviews[/su_button][su_divider top="no" divider_color="#eeeeee" size="1" margin="10"][/su_spoiler]
